Hôtel Neuf décoré avec goût , proche de la mer et de la basilique saint Nicolas. Chambres très spacieuses , lit confortable.

In het hotel word je hartelijk ontvangen. Het is een mooie hotel met een schone zwembad en de badkamer was ook brandschoon. Airco werkt top. Ontbijt kon iets beter, maar je had iets te eten.

Very nice, brand new hotel. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. We had a pinch of an ocean view from our little balcony, however, there is a big concrete wall between the hotel and the water. We had dinner there one night and the salad, filet, and the pasta we had made one of the best meals we had on the trip. The breakfast was great. The cappuccino machine had a little learning curve. Once we figured it out, we were able to get the closest thing we found to a regular American cup of coffee. We just pushed the espresso button and then the hot water button to finish filling the cup. The hotel is about a block from a nice beach where you can spend the day sunning. We hung out by the pool one day. It was quite pleasant. The hotel is not close to the historic downtown, but there is a free shuttle provided. It runs at specific times, and you have to schedule it ahead of time. We did that twice and it was fine. We did walk to the historic area one time. It was a 38-minute brisk walk, so if you want to get your exercise one day, walking is an option. We are in our 60's and exercise routinely, if that helps. The historic area is nice, but walk around the newer areas too.

The hotel is nice, modern and clean. Staff was helpful and polite. They also provide a shuttle service from the hotel to the city centre. The downside is the industrial area. The surroundings look awful and there are two constructions being built right next to the hotel which is not a pleasant view from the pool and it’s actually loud. Drinks and cocktails could be upgraded.
