Quercia Belvedere Relais

Beautiful Beautiful place. Just what we wanted in terms of Italian authenticity with all the modern and luxury conveniences. Location was excellent too, only a 5 minute drive down into central Bardolino and the sunset views over the lake from up on the hills are stunning. Breakfast was exceptional, the brad new e-bikes available on site were brilliant for exploring (or just burning off some excess pasta!).

Honestly, one of the nicest places we have ever experienced! We arrived on a very hot summer day and Frederico welcomed us with a chilled glass of rose from his vineyard...extraordinary! Our large room included a kitchen /dining area and beautiful bath. Everything was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are well placed loungers throughout the property, we spent very peaceful hours reading among the olive trees while gazing at Lake Garda. While this was the only property on our trip that did not have a pool, the large, jetted spa under the pergola was an equally wonderful option. Breakfast was delicious, served tableside, including fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits, eggs, cheeses, Italian meats, rolls and excellent coffees. Each morning we were treated to a breakfast 'dessert' croissant. Sitting at the table you can detect the scent of the lavender plants on the path! We had a lot of questions before and during our stay and Frederico was very helpful with answers, ideas and assistance with reservations (make sure you try Osteria Metti!!). He helped us with a 24km bike route though the local vineyards and we rented our e-bikes from the hotel. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay at the Relais a few more days to explore Bardolino area.

This is a perfect home away from home for exporing Lake Garda, relaxing and to get a lot of good wines, olives as well as authentic italian food. The rooms are exeptional, the atmosphere was peaceful, tranquil and welcoming. Everything looks pretty new. Breakfast is a feast with views of the Lake in the distance. The grounds surrounding the accommodation are huge. Olivetrees and grapes are cultivated here. You can even rent e-bikes and Federico provides tips about the area and where to dine. Thanks a lot for this perfect stay Federico!

What an absolutely unbelievable place to stay. View, amenities, staff all made it amazing. This was our treat on this break staying here a week. Breakfast was amazing and they have an honesty bar type thing aswell as you aren’t near many shops. I’m not sure how they managed to make so many different types of eggs for each day but they did! The only thing was it does say that there are taxi ranks that will bring you back but we didn’t find them reliable and if it hadn’t been for another guest stopping and picking us up half way back the walk would have finished us off in the 40 degree heat I think! Not the fault of the hotel at all but just be aware that walking down and back not a great idea! Room was sublime with a lovely balcony, working air con and a massive walk in shower! We made the most of the Sun loungers and hot tub on days where we wanted to just relax.

We spent 4 nights at Quercia Belvedere at the beginning of August, and wished we could have stayed longer. The peace and tranquility at the hotel are just the ticket for a relaxing few days close to Lake Garda. The rooms are generous in size with large comfy beds. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection of fresh fruits, cold meats, pastries and a freshly cooked hot plate, all served straight to your table every morning. Federico, the owner, and his team are extremely friendly and very helpful, and went far beyond what we expected on a couple of occasions to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Although this is only a B&B hotel, we loved the “honesty fridge” that was always well stocked with beer and locally produced wine at perfectly acceptable prices. For restaurants, there are some really nice options within a 10 minute drive (or 30 minute walk), serving up delicious and authentic Italian food, without the need to go into busy Bardolino, although we would advise booking in advance at busy times. The only warning we would give, and this is in no way a criticism of the hotel, is that you really need a car. The hotel is a 30 minute walk up quite a steep hillside (on reasonably well lit roads). Taxis in Bardolino are as rare as hen’s teeth, not that reliable, and not that cheap. The hotel does offer electric bicycles for rent, but we actually enjoyed the walk down every morning as we knew there were plenty of coffee options In Bardolino, and the evening walk back up always finished with a nice bottle of locally produced Rose from the honesty bar. There are plenty of cheaper places to stay, but Quercia Belvedere is special and is highly recommended !

Rooms very well equipped and taken care. Excellent service and great hospitality by owner Federico Cetti as well as by the whole service team. Location offers optimum balance between opportunities to relax and be in convenient proximity to Bardolino as well. In short: a paradise on earth.
