TOTAL NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE! We arrived at the hotel at 1 AM, only to discover that the access code provided to unlock the door was incorrect. We immediately sent emails seeking assistance, but received no reply. There was no emergency contact number or any way to get help. The staff at the whisky bar downstairs were incredibly kind and informed us that this issue is a recurring problem at this hotel. They mentioned that guests frequently face the same issue with incorrect codes. After an hour of unsuccessful attempts to enter, my friend and I were left with no choice but to search for another room—something extremely difficult to do at 2 AM in Barcelona. Most nearby hotels were fully booked, and we ended up paying 200 euros for the only available room we could find. The next morning, we went to the hotel office to file a complaint. The staff member we spoke to confirmed that the error was on their part for providing the wrong code. Despite this, we recently received an email—six months later—from ******* informing us that the hotel refuses to take responsibility and will not refund our money. Please avoid this property at all costs! The stress, unprofessionalism, and terrible experience are not what you want during your stay in Barcelona.
