Too much attitude

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mellow Barcelona Hostel during my visit to the vibrant city of Barcelona. As a budget traveler, I was on the lookout for an affordable accommodation option that also offered comfort and a social atmosphere, and Mellow Barcelona Hostel certainly exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and multilingual staff, who made the check-in process a breeze. They were also incredibly helpful in providing me with a map of the city and giving me valuable recommendations on the best places to visit and explore in Barcelona.

At first I'm afraid to book this hostel but it was good. Not so huge room but I met three staffs and all of them are kind. Also bed are clean. I mean you don't worry to stay here.

This is a shitty place with shitty and all shoddy people staying there. The people from the reception were so cold that it felt like they were doing me a favor that I was staying there. The washrooms were shitty too. The kitchen was too small, the rooms had no space for air circulation. I have been backpacking for a month and stayed at different kinds of hostels sometimes cheaper than this but never felt so insecure and unpleasant. Would have given ratings in minus. . It made my Barcelona stay very unpleasant.

A bit far away from the city center, the hotel is located on top of the hill so if you dont mind thr walk its ok. There are metro stations nearby. The place is clean frequently and the staff friendly.

The experience in general it’s okay. We have some problems with the water at the bathrooms and they fixed it very quickly. The kitchen it’s too close and they don’t have many tools so it’s hard to try to cook. You have to know that location it’s too far of main attractions of the city but at least you have a bus stop really close of the hostel. In general it’s like 3.5/5

It was really good.

Don’t expect any hospitality from staff. There was only one female staff who actually helped me and talk nicely but any other staffs were not friendly. Location was kinda terrible because there are massive stairs right before you get to the hostel. Seems like there is a lift next to stairs, but while I was staying this hostel, it was out of service.. if you’re not willing to climb up the hundreds of stairs with your heavy backpack, better not to choose here. If you don’t have much luggage and prefer quiet place to stay, it can be a option. Kitchen, toilet, shower is normal, nothing to complain about. At balcony, you can smoke and chat with other travelers.
