Excellent location superb accommodation with outstanding views,comfortable beds and bathrooms,quick service personnel and everything that you expect in a 5 star hotel including a heated swimming pool and spa! The carpets need replacement as the appear pretty worn out. The”BACCI”lighted magnified make up/shaving mirror did not light up and the staff could not help!

The property undoubtedly is amazing with good food, spacious rooms, good views, awesome pool, steam, warm staff. Not sure if it’s worth Rs.80k to Rs.100k per night. Being at a height there are many steps to climb up & down but we did see wheel chair facility. Special mention of team members - Junaid, restaurant manager & server Hilal who were very hospitable & took great care of our food. Strongly recommend their Kashmiri thali enough to feed 4 people. Team at reception Waseem & pool (clicked pics for us) was very good. Thanks to Zahida at reservations for being responsive. Happened to meet Kaiser, their procurement head, who was so friendly & guided us through our stay in Gulmarg. Kashmiri musician Wasim Yusuf performed very well. Heating system was very nice

The best Himalayan view resort. A must stay when in Gulmarg. A perfect blend of Kashmiri hospitality and the western technology and design to bring in the comfort during the stay. Love the location of the property and the mesmerizing view from the room.

It was an amazing experience. Best part of our stay was the food. Obviously this is one of the best locations in India but on top of that their food and service is amazing. This hotel is packed with guests but still the service is so quick. We loved it. They have this bonfire concept, which is an exceptional experience. It is done in top of the snow or balcony. Both the places give an amazing experience. We would recommend everyone going there to try that. Junaid is the most helpful staff member there. He helped us with everything during our stay. We will definitely visit this property again very soon and would recommend same to all out friends and family.

If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway in Gulmarg, The Khyber Resort is the place to be. Nestled amidst stunning snow-capped peaks, this resort offers a truly picturesque experience. The views alone are worth it—imagine waking up to a blanket of white, with pristine mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. And It’s just 100 meters from the Gulmarg Gondola. The hospitality here deserves a special mention. Bilal and Nazima went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Food at The Khyber is excellent! The Lebanese restaurant is a standout—not only does it serve authentic cuisine, but the addition of sheesha makes it an even more enjoyable experience. Don’t miss Brava, where I highly recommend trying their Spaghetti Arrabbiata—it’s absolutely delicious. Also, all restaurants here are BYOB for in-house guests which was a surprise for us. If you’re planning to visit, make sure to go during the snow season. The magic of The Khyber in winter is unmatched, with its cozy interiors and breathtaking surroundings.
