White House Asoke Sukhumvit 18 is a decent low-cost hotel with a great location and friendly service. The rooms are clean, and the staff is helpful. However, the amenities are quite basic, so don’t expect luxury. It’s a good choice for budget travelers who need a convenient and comfortable stay in Bangkok.

Used to be the ideal place and location but unfortunately it’s gone down hill. The rooms have TVs but there’s no point when they don’t have a remote or Ariel lead. There seems to be more focus on the 24hr mango shop they also run.

The hotel smells very bad, not just the room, the elevator, the hallway, everything does. it's Noisy,tv is a 19inch 2000 model.I booked 3 nights and I left after 3 hours. Worst of all! I took a nap after getting there and woke up with a big roach on my bed.

Let’s start with the good things: Located close to the BTS station Asok and there are nearby malls, including Terminal 21. Room is clean, no issues with WiFi connection and aircon is working well. Now for the bad stuff: My room is next to the main street, so it is very noisy even till midnight. Fortunately, the room windows are closed, if not I cannot imagine sleeping well. However, you can hear the noises very clearly in the toilet. For those who are easily disturbed by noise, this is not the right place to stay (or probably I am the unlucky one who had the room beside the main street).

The room was rundown, no TV, locker safe spoil. When u step into the lift have a wried smell.

Worst place I habe ever experienced. Operating as a Take away kiosk at "reception". Shoddy decor, cold rusting shower, no water in sink, horrible bed. This is neither a Hotel or Hostel. It is a doss house. Shame on Trip.com for listing it.

A bit old but cheap and clean. Location is very closed to BTS and MRT.

A bit noisy if you’re the same floor with other place staff, they worked 2-3 AM where was noisy to sleep. Sorry to say that but it’s unhappy night stay

The price for the location was great. It is close to a metro transfer station, Terminal 21 mall, and one station away from the airport train. Things that were not great were the old towels with holes. Also, the building is directly next to the main road in Sukhumvit so the noise was constantly in the room.

It was difficult to find althought its on the main road. The hotel sign is not obviously seen. My room was cheapest type so its small and the room atmosphere was not fresh when I check in. The shower room is quite specious althought the main room area is small.

The location is extremely good, effortlessly walking distance to Asok station with wonderful Terminal 21 mall and Sukhumvit station. Just beside the hotel got a good proper massage at a reasonable price just beside the main road. And a Cafe just beside the hotel. This is a good thing about the hotel. The CONS, we booked 2 rooms and the room on the second floor is ok, clean and hot shower. But our second room on the third floor is pretty run down. We suspect it was a big day at the end of the year and probably convert one of the worst rooms or store rooms to be available. They stored the mango just beside our room entrance door which is pretty improper. The reception is very small but they provide a minimum service requirement like cleaning the room which is fine for us and they run a mango store beside the reception. The noise in our room on the third floor is pretty bad as it was near the main road and no hot shower. Overall it is still within just an acceptable level as the air-conditioning is working ok and the fridge is working ok. The bed is just ok. The lift is pretty stinky but it was ok on the second day. They probably moved a lot of mangoes using the lift that day. If you are looking for a good location hotel and hotel just above low budget then it would fit you. As we have no choice as at mid range hotels are fully booked at year end. We are still glad that we are able to have a room to stay. If they renovate the room and clean up the reception a little then it will very much become a very good mid range budget hotel as the location is fabulous.
