I stayed at Metacity Bangkok and had a mixed experience. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff, who provided great service throughout my stay. They were always polite and accommodating, which made a positive impression. However, the room cleanliness was not up to standard—there was noticeable dust and some areas that could have been cleaned better. The location was just okay, not too far from key areas but not the most convenient either. Overall, if cleanliness were improved, this hotel would be a much better choice. The service was great, but I expected more in terms of maintenance and hygiene.

The hotel is located a few blocks from the center, you have to walk quite a bit to get to the popular main street in the city. We arrived late at night, so there was no one at the reception, only the security guy who barely spoke English who greeted us. The room is too small, barely enough space to put our luggage and the cleaning staff is a bit rude. The shower is extremely complicated, it doesn't work well, the water is too cold or too hot, there is no reasonable regulation to shower pleasantly. The reception room was very hot at night, we went to the meeting room in the reception to be able to talk with our friends also staying at the hotel, but the security guy turned off the AC and told us that if we wanted AC we should go to our rooms, but we stayed and after a few hours we saw how the man goes to sleep in the reception room and turns on the AC only for his comfort, however he did not care about our well-being as customers when we asked him to turn on the AC because it was too hot for us, anyway... most of the staff were not friendly. The pool bar service was lovely from the guy who served us. The hotel seemed new, it's good to relax because the truth is it's a bit boring.

Disappointing Stay: Poor Housekeeping and Lack of Privacy I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and while the location was excellent and the reception staff were warm and welcoming, my overall experience was marred by several issues. Room Issues: Firstly, the room was uncomfortably small, which made it feel cramped and claustrophobic. However, the biggest problem was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. The glass door and partition, which were not equipped with locks, made it feel like I was on display. This design flaw needs to be addressed urgently, either by installing locks or replacing the glass with a more opaque material like wood. Furthermore, the initial housekeeping service was subpar. The cleaning lady was consistently rude and unfriendly, and the room was not cleaned properly. The lack of curtains or blinds in the room meant that sunlight streamed in directly from the bathroom, making it difficult to sleep in. Prompt Action by Management: However, after I brought this issue to the attention of the management, they swung into action. The housekeeping staff was changed on the very same day, and the new staff member was extremely courteous and efficient. But what really impressed me was that the manager personally came to my room to check if everything was to my satisfaction. They even offered me some complementary snacks and fruits as a goodwill gesture. Silver Linings: On a positive note, the reception staff were exceptional. They were always polite, welcoming, and eager to help. Special mention must be made of the lady manager, who was outstanding in her professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to assist. Her warm smile and friendly demeanor made a significant difference to my stay. The Cherry on the Cake: But the cherry on the cake was the pool and bar on the terrace. The superb offers and discounts made it an irresistible spot to unwind and relax. The ambiance was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive. most recommended during the stay. Rating and Recommendations: While the hotel's location is excellent, the initial issues I experienced cannot be ignored. However, the prompt action taken by the management to address my concerns was commendable. the hotel needs to addresses the problems with the bathroom design asap. Rating: 4/5 stars Recommendations: 1. Install locks on the bathroom doors and partitions. 2. Replace the glass bathroom doors and partitions with more opaque materials. 3. Provide curtains or blinds in the rooms to block out sunlight. 4. Provide proper training to housekeeping staff to ensure they deliver excellent service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and courtesy.

How much you pay = how much quality you get. 20 mins walk to Terminal 21. Wifi is ok. You get a free welcome drink. Not the best quality but still acceptable in this price

The hotel location was close to department stores. You can walk about 15 minutes to terminal 21. Room was so nice and have all facilities. You also have welcome drink with 1 more free drink. The staff was so friendly.

Good service (reception), games on the bar, welcome drinks (please, teach barista how to do coffee). Recommendation: for this floor in the room you need to provide slippers

The location is good the beautiful hotel staff is very friendly so my day was very fine but the checkout I got the very disappointed they charge me 200 BTH Because they said lipstick from towel they find it’s not belongs to me but anyway I paid. I don’t want to argue with them unless everything is fine. 

the worst hotel I stay in Bangkok ever. The room are super dirty, no aircon, no hot water, smelly, Originally stayed 6 nights, I have to check out and change other hotel instead. Ridiculous.

The reception of guests is excellent and the welcome from the staff is really perfect service. The room is really good. Near BTS Nana, convenient to travel. Thank you for everything and if we travel again, we will definitely book the same hotel again.
