1. Outdated Facilities
The hotel shows its age—furniture, bedding, carpets, and towels are worn out, more in line with a 3+ star than a 4-star standard. Don’t expect luxury here.
2. Lack of Genuine Hospitality
Most staff were indifferent, with only a few (especially the elderly ones) offering warm greetings. The usher lady at the breakfast hall was the only exception—truly kind. Otherwise, we never felt welcome.
3. Poor Check-In Experience
At arrival, my receptionist didn’t offer luggage assistance, even though I was with my elderly parents. Meanwhile, the staff next to her helped another guest. Small gestures matter in hospitality—this was a letdown.
4. Unnecessarily Harsh Warning
One staff member firmly scolded my dad for smoking near the escalator (his mistake, admittedly). However, a polite reminder would’ve been more appropriate.
5. Poor Parking Logistics
The tiny lobby parking couldn’t handle two big buses and a guest car, forcing my Grab car to drop us on the road. We had to walk and take the escalator up—poor planning for a hotel of this rating.
Verdict: 3/5 – Would Not Rebook
While the stay was tolerable, the lack of warmth, outdated amenities, and inconsistent service mean I won’t be returning.
