Perfect location and very good restaurant service. Rooms are just ok to sleep.

Hotel is basically very good. Breakfast superb. Take note hotel is 15-20min walk from nearest Train Station, taking Grab/Taxi may be added expense. Room is good size, but NO VENTILLATION. You cannot control AC, air hits your head. No exhaust at toilet/shower, basically air cannot circulate. Not good for guests with respiratory problems. Told staff about this but they said it is normal.

We loved the location of the hotel: beautiful river views, lots of eateries 5 min walk on the main road, 15 min walk to Icon Siam Mall and the ferries. Good choice at breakfast with western and south Asian dishes. We left late night for the airport and had a nice breakfast box prepared for us.

Nice, 4 star hotel ron west side of Chao Praya river. Beautiful views from the ample riverside terrace, decent restaurant and bar and friedly and helpful staff. They also adored our two kitties, who travel with us. Would recommend and will return.

During my stay I asked the hotel staff about the room change on the river side but she didn't offer any other choices for me just only rejection. If she offered nicely may be I would love to pay more for an upgrade. I think the service mind of staff here is poor. And the breakfast was just a few thing to eat. So I didn't take any pictures because I felt dissatisfied. But the cleanliness and location are good!

We always stay here for a staycation, the location is fab!! 10 min walk to icon Siam, free shuttle to the bts and the pool is great! Very good value for money.

Overall, the hotel was okay – the location and service were good, and the room was clean, although nothing special. However, the biggest issue was that the hotel allows dogs. In principle, that’s fine – but here, dogs are allowed to roam freely around the pool area, they are not kept on a leash, and some owners even let their dogs swim in the pool. On several occasions, there was dog poop around the pool, and no one from the staff did anything about it. If you’re looking for a relaxing and hygienic stay, this is really disappointing. It’s a shame, because with a bit more control and responsibility from the hotel staff, the experience could be much better.

The usual, with a little twist - arrived after Bangkok's earthquake and all trains stopped. The hotel was ready as usual for another stay with them. It's still good value for money and located well for river trips, etc. The pool is fantastic and the whole place is so clean.

There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby, which is great for grabbing snacks, drinks, or quick meals. Plus, the area is lined with popular eateries, making it a great spot for food lovers. The staff at ibis Bangkok Riverside are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Despite the hotel being built quite some time ago, it is well-maintained, and during my visit, they were even upgrading the garden, which shows their commitment to keeping the property fresh and welcoming. Overall, ibis Bangkok Riverside offers great value for money, with an unbeatable location, comfortable accommodations, and warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok!

Frequent traveler to BKK and booked here due to proximatey to the river where fishermen were catching right behind the hotel. About a 15-minute walk to the BTS and 15 minutes to Icon Siam mall. Dated rooms where I found only one electrical outlet away from the bed and no power in the bathroom. I had a riverview room which could use a larger window but it was great to watch the water traffic. Street food galore surrounds the hotel so bring pants with elastic waist. My favorite item was the excellent water pressure and hot water in the shower. Breakfast was good. Overall a thumbs up!
