Violet Tower at Khaosan Palace anmeldelser

I been staying in Khaosan palace for many years in the past. It's a bit loud at night but the view from the pool makes up for that. The staff is nice and the location is so good for partying but not the best to get a good night sleep in some of the rooms facing the street. I definitely will be back depending on what I want on my trip. Party or sleep.

This hotel is right in the middle of Khao San Road, so expect a lot of noise at night from all the bars—it’s almost impossible to get any sleep. During the day, the night market is empty, and the streets are lined with people sleeping on the sidewalk, which can be quite unsettling. Some rooms are in poor condition, so make sure you get a good one. If you have a lot of carry-on luggage, aim for a room on the first floor since there’s no elevator. I had to switch rooms because the AC in my first one was leaking water onto the bed, which was incredibly frustrating.

Great location for whom searching for night life fun. It’s noisy till 4am because hotel is center of the bar and lounges. There was no electric kettle in hotel room. Price is affordable.

The hotel is located at the heart of the Khao San night market, which means you have no chance to sleep until 3am when noises start to reduce (need to wait until 4am for complete silence). I used an app to measure the peak sound level inside my room at 2am. The result was 91db! You can even feel the vibration caused by the super loudspeakers of the bars around. Fairly speaking this problem is not unique to this hotel. If you are not a party animal and want to sleep near Khao San, choose a hotel at least 2 blocks away from Khao San Road.

Not good for children due to noise pollution from night life

I arrive at 04:00 at the hotel, 8 hours before check in time and the staff are kind enough to let me keep my bag on the storage same with the check out as my trip to the north will be at night and I want to roam around the city. They do not have make up room. Perfect location if you want to travel Bangkok and get closer to the night scene. Lifts are not available.

If u want to bring any guest to your room u have to pay 400THB and the security will stare at u and ask if u stay here(I really hate this). No respect No privacy! No elevator in this building and towel is so dirty! I didn’t take any pic Room is too small no space to walk

Located in heart of Khaosan rd street party, it better for who would like to stay only for party because it’s noisy at night. The hotel has no lift because only 4 floors so not very convenient but it’s good budget

This hotel is incredibly loud. I could feel my entire body vibrating from the music downstairs until 6AM. Great place if you like to be near a party place at night and then enjoy hanging out near the pool during the day. But, terrible place to be if you’re looking for a calm place to stay. There are earbuds provided in the room.

Small but enough room for one person and short trip. There were all necessary amenities, air conditioning was working well. I would add some light next to the mirror because shaving would be more comfortable. Nevertheless, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is that this hotel is located among many night clubs playing VERY loud music all the night. If you like night life and accept not sleeping to early morning this hotel May be good for you. If you want to sleep during the night definitely choose another place for accommodation.

They don’t have an elevator so I you have any kind I bad that’s bigger the a backpack be prepared to hike up stairs. The noise level is through the roof! Extremely loud as it is right between to night clubs so there’s constant noise. If you want a good nights sleep would not recommend and it’s a bit of a walk from the main road as taxis and bikes can’t enter the street. But if you don’t intend to sleep then this party hotel is for you.

Look for Kaosan Palace, not Violet Tower. Located right on Kaosan Road, if you don’t mind loud music until 7am, location is nice. Guest friendly, but need to pay a bit😉

Was okay. Everything was there but it was noisy at night just expect it and I had no problem with it since I love loud music🙈
