Banff Springs Hotel

We went for the 2 nights stay with bed and breakfast deal and had the best weekend ever! The staff are so friendly and it was a beautiful clean room. The food was amazing at breakfast and dinner. Was lovely to relax by the fire at night with a few drinks from the bar.

This hotel is a modern building on the sea front. Staff are very welcoming, & all public areas are spotlessly clean. We chose an executive room which had a view of the beach, & a comfortable bed. There is an excellent menu for dinner which we enjoyed on both evenings, & breakfast was equally good-freshly cooked to order with very generous portions. Only a few details would make it an excellent score-eg, no box of tissues in the room, wine not properly chilled,& please, serve a G&T with a slice of lemon!

We requested ground floor room, explaining I had recent ankle surgery and could not manage stairs. Originally booked July, but we were unwell, and next availability was late August, which was ok. We arrived to find the ground floor room involved walking outside round 2and a half sides of the building to access. Difficult with my walking, would have been much worse 7 weeks earlier when I was still using crutches! We had not been told this was the situation of the room when booking. The "accessable" shower was certainly accessable, but extremely slippery, as was the bathroom floor. Apart from that, the food was excellent, as were the young staff serving in the restaurant, and we did have a nice weekend. Management should inform guests with disability of the room situation, and should really deal with the shower and floor surfaces, which were very dangerous.

A modern hotel set on hill with fine views from public areas. Stayed here for one night on a solo bike trip. Room didn’t have a sea view but was spacious , clean and comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and courteous, especially Lesley on reception who helped me to store my bike in the cellar. Evening meal was good but not cheap.

Just returned from our 5th time staying here, lovely welcome from Lesley on reception who took our cases upstairs as there is no lift, the rooms are lovely, very clean and comfortable, the breakfast is lovely with a great choice, staff are all lovely especially Beth. Big car park and amazing views.

From when we arrived, the staff have been excellent!! 5 ☆ The room was spotless , comfortable bed and loads of room to move around, it also looked onto the bay , which we did have a walk along the lovely white sandy beach . The hospitality staff are a young team but WOW they are welcoming, friendly and know their job! Food was amazing too 5☆ Thankyou so much for a lovely stay

Went last night with granddaughter for a meal, starters were lovely but main mean was horrible. I had fish in batter , only get half a fish, the other had fajitas, was not edible, they obviously don’t taste the food before serving,, it was very very spicy , her mouth was on fire, I tasted it and had to spit it out and my mouth was on fire. Told them that that dish was disgusting, they never even gave a reduction in money😡🤮

We did not stay in the hotel. We had lunch in the restaurant and dinner in the evening. Fantastic sea views and a very nice environment. Quality of food was excellent as was the service. There are two fairly large car parks. We would definitely use this restaurant again.
