We called in for breakfast and it was fantastic. The setting is beautiful and the choice of food and service was second to none. We would normally go to town centre cafes which are busy and noisy, but the Belmont was an oasis of calm, lots of free parking and really good value for money. We will definitely be back soon!

Poor experience. Some of the restaurant waiting staff need to adopt a different attitude. Quick and abrupt. Threw the menu on the table. Food below average. Very poor experience for what is supposed to be 4 star hotel! Waiting staff not attentive.

I wasn’t expecting this hotel to be so grand for the price I paid, it was fantastic. I with I took some pictures but I forgot… The grand staircase is to die for. The room, staff, food are amazing. I would stay here anytime I get the chance. Absolutely love this hotel, you have to stay to really appreciate it!

The hotel room was beautifully presented and the staff on arrival were fantastic. The restaurant and bar in the basement area were excellent - highly recommended if visiting the area. It’s one a short walk to the town if Banbridge with a selection of eating and drinking venues

Excellent hotel in a converted "manor" house. The room we had was spacious, with lovely views to the front of the hotel, it had a small, but modern en-suite. The beds were comfy and quiet. Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. So why not 5 stars? We spent a couple of evenings in the bar downstairs, (I know this sounds petty but it's simple to fix), we had gin and tonics, these were served in basic high ball glasses that you would normally serve a kids coke in, no garnish. We asked for crisps (potato chips) and there were non, and no snacks. On the Sunday, when the bar person left and was replaced by the night staff, we were served in proper, cut glass tumblers with garnish and he went to the staff canteen to get us some snacks. That is service, so well done to the night crew.

Some European colleagues stayed at The Belmont for a business meeting, they were effusive in their praise of the hotel. great staff, lovely rooms and great breakfasts. It was very helpful to foster good relations that they had a favourable experience, Thank you.

Avoid this hotel…not a nice place…awful service…food not fresh…this hotel has an negative feeling about it..Our Son Charlie hated it. I would not recommend this establishment & feel there are far better places in the area..such a shame this establishment has moved away from its morals.

I booked this for a team of 8 to work in Ireland for a week. From first contacting the hotel to discuss accommodation and prices to leaving on the Friday we could not fault anything. The super friendly staff on reception made the booking process easy and the hotel is just beautiful. The location was perfect, the rooms are beautiful, bright, clean and very comfortable. The food was amazing and the staff beyond amazing, we literally felt like we were home from home. A particular shout out to Ernie who went above and beyond for us (with some lovely, funny fascinating stories along the way). A wonderful man. Also the two lovely young men working the bar on an evening, they were so polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone. Hopefully we get the chance to return.

My wife and I called in for lunch. The dining room was a delight with old world elegance. We had the senior citizens special of haddock, chips and veg followed by in my case, a good old fashioned apple crumble and coffee. All for £15 each Great meal, lovely staff and great value. Would definitely recommend this place.
