Teach an Cheoil

Teach An Cheoil was such an incredible experience and B&B in Ballyvoy in North Ireland. The hosts teach and play Traditional Irish Music which we got to hear first-hand at their Trad Trail (pub hops with them and others playing Irish tunes).It was very intimate and educational and is obvious how passionate and committed Micheal and Catherine are to bringing Trad Irish Music and Irish language back. They are incredible, giving, people who have an amazing B&B just up the hill from Ballycastle which is an adorable town right on the coast. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and had every amenity needed. Breakfasts were homemade and delicious.The property is surrounded by green rolling hills with sheep which was so unique to see and hear. If you are looking for a true Irish experience, book a stay with Teach An Cheoil. You will truly enjoy your stay!

We had a great time here! Our host, Micháel, was fantastic, full of wonderful stories and details about the surrounding area. The room was huge, with a large bathroom and a lovely cat to greet us outside. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have any interest in Irish traditional music or the Irish language. The closest pub is a short drive away. The ONLY downside was that there was very little shelving in the bathroom or shower to hold all our stuff.
