Puri Dajuma is just amazing. Quiet and peaceful in the West Bali. All staffs are very nice and helpful. And most of them have been with the hotel ever since it first started over 20 years ago. I appreciate that the hotel is applying the ESG policy to care for the locals and environment. Best for tourists looking for a real authentic experience in Bali and to surf in Medewi.

離機場不堵車要兩個小時，附近沒有特別多的景點，因為到了才發現路程這麼遠，而且峇裏島不堵車，最後衹能放棄入住； 可能比較適合開會和已經去過峇裏島很多次 主要去沖浪的人吧。 如果要去景點或者第二天要去機場的話 非常不建議住這個酒店！

Stayed for three days and absolutely loved it. I love reading, so peace and quiet was of paramount importance. The hotel proved to be just the right place: no other hotels nearby, no loud music and people partying till early morning.Staff is discreet and attentive, ocean view is amazing, food is great (vegan and vegetarian options on the menu) and rooms are comfortable and impeccably clean. The hotel provides a free shuttle ride to the nearby village and surfing point at Medewi beach. I will be back :)

Couldn’t speak more highly of the attentive and kind staff who added to our fabulous time at Puri Da Juma. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and we loved our ocean facing veranda. The choice of pools to sit by is great. Every meal we ate here was delicious and all the dining staff were very accomodating of my daughter’s dietary requirements. I would highly recommend you try the teppanyaki dinner which you need to book. This resort is very relaxing and a superb place to spend holiday time.

Decided to head to West Bali as we had never been up that way. Great hotel on the beach with 5 star accommodation and food. Is quite up that way but if you just wanted to enjoy the peacefulness and relax with great sunsets it definitely a place to stay. Staff were great and food even better. Went on a tour up to the plantation and had a ball. Definitely go there again.

Brilliant, location, service, gardens, pools, restaurants, bars, Ocean View Suites. This place has everything, even real in action eco responsibility! We’ve been coming to Bali and travelled all around the islands for decades, this is the best-aside from private pool villas! Just love, we’ll be visiting regularly. The surrounding villages and the West Bali National Park (NP) also excellent. The resort also has a very knowledgeable guide who does great NP experiences.

It's always a pleasure to return! The exceptional warmth and professionalism of the entire team – from the restaurant staff and housekeeping to the gardeners and chauffeurs – make every stay truly special. From the very first moment, you feel completely at ease. The cuisine is outstanding, and the entire property is beautifully maintained and absolutely stunning. A place to relax and indulge – highly recommended!

Puri Dajuma is informal, barefoot and relaxed, but for some reason, it doesn't feel very Balinese - it's not like The Watergarden in Candidasa, or The Damai in Lovina, or other long-established smallish hotels you have to make an effort to get to. It's certainly not the grounds that are at fault - they're fabulous and the gardeners are in a class of their own. So maybe it's the architecture of the new villas and cottages, which are a bit weird, like lock-up beehives. Or the main dining room where it's all a bit noisy and lacking in atmosphere. Or the narrow top pool with its slide and splash. I can't put my finger on it. There's no pretence here, it's a mid-range resort that's idea for families and groups of friends. If you read carefully about the hotel and the locality, you'll know whether or not it's for you as it will suit some travellers better than others. Puri Dajuma has been on my radar for many years. First of all, it's in an area I love - away from the urban sprawl that is Canggu down to Kuta. It's on the west coast, a good three hours up from the airport (but that's because of the crazy traffic that's choking Bali's old resorts). But it's no longer a pleasant drive, as the only way to Pekutatan is up the main road that carries all the traffic heading west across Indonesia to the ferry port of Gilimanuk. So you're not meandering through quaint villages and rice fields any more, you're driving up a chokey, fumey road, past motorcycle repair shops, car dealers, autoparts, garages, and machinery shops. It's a relief when you turn off to drive through the lovely little villages you'll end up exploring when you stay at Puri Dajuma. The new villas, which front the long and narrow swimming pool at the top, are quite small rondels, with open air bathrooms and narrow terrace gardens at the front. We paid to upgrade as we were staying there for ten days, and we'd have gone crazy in such a little space. But the duplex next door, with a sitting room and kitchen downstairs and, upstairs, a bedroom, balcony and indoor bathroom, suited us better. There are two pools, and - beyond the dun-coloured sand and rocks - the sea. You see some fishing boats coming and going - some water buffalo herded down for a splash about - and lots of local kids (without exception cheerful, polite, interested and friendly) on motorbikes, doing wheelies and speed racing on the sads. There's some washed up refuse on the beach, and the ubiquitous remains of partying, but it's not anywhere near as bad as poor Seminyak, or Kerobokan. The downside in all this is that there are few places to head off to if you get bored with the food, and, if you're vegetarian or pescatarian, you will. It's bland - it's so dumbed down for 'western taste' that your tastebuds will cry out for chillies and some fine nam pla and a heavy hand with the ketsap manis, and beautiful fresh vegetables rather than the ubiquitous mix of identically sliced carrots and beans and stuff that doesn't b

This is the real Bali, West Bali is an amazing place and the hotel completely complements the area. The rooms are authentic, spacious, clean and fitted out to a high standard. The restaurant food is very good as is the drinks menu and all reasonably priced. The pools are great and big enough for the kids to have fun and for the adults to relax. The beach is a large expanse of black sand which the locals also use for their fishing boats, the waves are amazing too, we had loads of fun bodyboarding everyday and taking in surfing lessons - plus Medewi is just around the corner where you can experience the real surfing culture. The staff are also a testament to the hotel, they can't do enough for you, all are very knowledgable and take the time to talk to the guests. I feel a pang of guilt writing this as the hotel and West Bali should stay exactly as it is without attracting further tourism... very uncommercial and authentic with no big hotels and a genuine connection to the local community.

We’re loving our stay! The hotel is a perfect size with 2 pools, a nice restaurant, spa and a feel of spaciousness. The cottages face the ocean and the sound of the waves will send you off to sleep. The outdoor bathrooms are luxurious and amazing. This is our first time at the Dajuma and in West Bali and we will definitely be back!

The most beautiful Balinese hotel with delicious home cooked food and the kindest staff. We were so lucky to spend two weeks at this resort in West Bali. The wooden Villa was huge, stunning with a sea view and we loved the ambience, the food and the kindest staff. The food was so fresh and the waiting staff were perfect. Thanks to them all for making our stay so wonderful.
