Subak Tabola Villa

We stayed 6 days, within a tour of Indonesia and experienced most of the proposed activities, including being guided in the traditional offering cérémonies by Mama Ati who is running the place. She is also a Priest and the Mother & support of many in the Sidemen village community. Wonderful and inspired team! Great food and service, massage and many visits to see Ikat textile production and make our own Silver rings at Edi Silver place. Can only recommend readers who wish to come, to stay more than 3 days and enjoy what they call themselves the « last place in paradise » and that should become «  the first place in paradise » and inspire other hôtels of this unique and peacefull Sidemen région!

I came to Subak Tabola as part of a yoga training and it was an absolutely perfect experience. Their tagline is "Welcome Home" and I absolutely felt like I was during my stay. Tucked away in the jungle, the grounds are truly stunning, with luscious vegetation throughout the property and views in every direction. The rooms themselves (mini-villas really) are gorgeous too with no detail of the traditional Balinese architecture and decor overlooked. They are incredibly spacious and every luxury is attended to. The amenities available on site are wonderful too - I had two massages while there, both of which were amazing, the food offered at the restaurant is delicious, and the pool is great as well. They also offer access to excursions that allow you to experience the beauty of the Bali countryside. Mama Ati and her staff are so warm, pleasant, and accommodating and truly felt like family by the end! A hidden gem - highly recommend!

It was like returning home! Subak Tola is beautiful. The setting is green, glorious and serene! The room was spacious, clean and I absolutely loved my bathroom with an incredible bathtub where I was able to soak after a very long flight. The staff were lovely and very tentative (they remember your name and orders throughout the week!). Fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden - vegetarian and gluten free options! The food is so good that you will spend your afternoons thinking what you might want for dinner :) Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to disconnect from your busy life. A great place to breath, relax and reconnect with your inner self!

Nach dem lange flug hatten wir noch eine weite reise nach sidemen vor uns…angekommen spät gegen 23.00uhr wurde uns noch eine kleinigkeit zum essen gebracht,sehr sehr nett.. Am nächsten Tag wurden wir dann vom ganzen team soooooo freundlich begrüsst,was für uns ungewohnt war.wir fühlten uns gleich wohl,auch unsere unterkunft liess nichts zum wünschen übrig.massagen und andere behandlungen dort top!!!!kochkurs top!!!! reisfeldwanderung top!!!!! wer zum abschalten nach bali kommt ,der muass nach sidemen!!! danke an das ganze team von mama atti

Très déçus par ce lieu L hôtel est mal entretenu et vieillissant De nombreuses bêtes la nuit dans les chambres dont un énorme lézard qui nous a occasionné une nuit blanche L hôtel est éloigné et de surcroît nous sommes allés manger en ville et le retour n'est pas éclairé et peut faire peur. Franchement un hôtel en fin de vie Nous nous sommes sentis mal à l aise. Nous n avons pas eu droit au massage des pieds.
