Natura Villa Ubud Bali

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 young daughters (13 and 8). Natura is a place like no other. From the moment you arrive following the hustle and bustle of driving through Ubud village, you are greeted by an immersive calm. Nature is here and present in every aspect of Natura. Everything is open air, no walls or air conditioning (except for your room) to detract from the full experience. The fish pond at reception houses many large goldfish and one resident 14yo Catfish. You may be lucky and offered a chance to feed them. The welcome drink is icy and refreshing, and indeed most welcome as you greet the humid environment of the jungle. Once you check in, you are taken on a personal tour of the key aspects of the resort - the open air restaurant, where they serve complimentary afternoon tea each day from 3-5pm, and the pool and spa area below. Natura is built into the hillside, so it has many inclines - some steep but well-guarded - and a fair few steps (pool/spa and depending on which villa you are in). You are then escorted to your villa, where the airconditioners have been turned on in anticipation of your arrival and your luggage brought in for you. You can close the outer entrance to your villa if you want additional privacy (although we didn’t and didn’t see a single person come into our grounds) and are invited to explore the resort at your leisure should you wish. The family villa is well-apportioned. Massive master bedroom and lounge with en-suite including marble bathtub that fit the 4 of us! Canopy mosquito netting on the king bed and 2x single beds in the secondary room. The villa comes with an Illy espresso pod machine with some pods and 6 water bottles which are replaced daily. There is a kettle and instant tea and coffee provided. No other cooking facilities and the fridge is a mini-fridge stored beneath the TV. They also provide insect spray should creepy crawlies get in, but we only needed to use this once. Breakfast is included from a set menu with Balinese tea and coffee. You can order espresso coffee for an additional cost (about 50k with tax/service). The restaurant has a simple yet varied menu catering to a few different tastes with a mix of Indonesian and western dishes - see photos. Unfortunately for us, it was rainy weather most of our stay so we didn’t make the most of our villa plunge pool as it was far too cold. The main infinity pool was also cold but the girls enjoyed it more as could play freely and look at the valley while you do. It is truly a place of tranquility - you can hear nothing of the busy-ness of Ubud. The pool decking is quite weathered with some questionable areas but they were easy enough to avoid. The on-site spa is well priced for a resort, and you get discounts for attending multiple days. We took advantage of this and had a couple of beautiful Balinese massages overlooking the valley. The perfection is a simple world to our experience in the Resort. The staff was beyond the amazing and extremely helpful. The service was super fast. The place was heaven on earth. I would of course recommed it. I even request an iron in my room they brought it, while it wasnt listed in the options of the room. Words wont express the happiness that they brought to my family especially my daughter. Book without even thinking. Receptionist will support you with whatever you wish for, I’m serious whatever you wish for(The medium aged girl receptionist). Definitely 10 rating stars

Amazing place to stay! Surrounded by the jungle with monkeys jumping around. Great restaurant too! The staff is super nice and committed, they helped us for everything (either arranging a taxi drive, recommending an itinerary or any other request for our room) I would definitely recommend this place!

What a lovely place! Surrounded by jungle but still only minutes away from town. The food is pretty ordinary but the venue more than makes up for it. The staff are absolutely lovely and always polite and helpful. Nice large room with own private pool and outside bathroom. I highly recommend a stay there

This place is a hidden paradise in the jungle! It was just stunning. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by all the staff. Riska, who was the main person in charge of guest relations was just brilliant! She had excellent English and nothing we asked of her was too much....from organizing drivers, late check outs, pedicures and massages. My husband and I just went to relax, as we had been to Ubud before, and that is exactly what we did. Our room was amazing, with a gorgeous plunge pool, a massive day bed that we both just loved, outdoor bath and shower, gorgeous Balinese design and well manicured garden. The view from our room was breathtaking and the place is designed so each villa feels so private (of which their is only 14, so no crowds here). We enjoyed our delicious breakfasts, and when I asked for a spicy omelette, it was no problem at all. Indrawati, our waitress was really lovely and fun to joke with too. We ate lunch there pretty much every day, which was also yum and not expensive. I can really recommend the Balinese massages at the spa there. Lenny was so amazing that my husband and I had two each over the 5 days we were there. We won't be looking for alternative accommodation next time we visit Ubud...we have found our home away from home! Thank you so much to all the staff for making our holiday so special.

Really enjoyed our stay at Natura Villa. The views, gardens, villas, food and staff were wonderful, every staff member went above and beyond to meet our needs but a special shout out to Riska, she made our stay even more pleasant and Natura are lucky to have her. This is our second stay and we plan to return.

All in all, our stay at the Natura Resort was amazing. It's ideally located in the Ubud forest, offering stunning views of the jungle and rice terraces sitting atop at a distance. Yet, it provides convenient access to the Ubud city centre, just a few minutes of drive away. The panorama villa we booked was generously sized and had a nice, little plunge pool that I enjoyed dipping into every now and then. Not to mention, the hotel's common pool offers incredible views of the surrounding jungle. The staff here was highly proficient, with room service responding to our requests almost instantly. Ms. Riska, in particular, was great to talk to at breakfast every morning and was very attentive in remembering our food preferences and ensuring they were met. My only suggestions on things that need improving would be to add more options to the breakfast menu, updating bath linens (particularly the pool towels which were worn out), and improving lighting in the rooms. Another inconvenience we experienced was that our villa didn't have a door to the bathroom which made privacy an issue as we were travelling with our four-year old daughter. However, these are only issues that created minor inconveniences instead of something that would ruin one's holiday. Everything said, if you're looking for an all-natural setting for a relaxing getaway, Natura Resort is the perfect place. We'll definitely be back in the future!

I have just spent 2 nights at Natura Resort & Spa & it was the perfect stay. The staff are all so warm, friendly & helpful. The resort is set within beautiful forests and the views from my room, the restaurant and the pool are just stunning. The soundtrack to breakfast was a cacophony of animal calls, very relaxing. I had a 1 bedroom villa with panoramic views. The room was huge with a large bathroom (with shower) and an outside shower & bath. My favourite thing was sitting in the window seat reading and watching the view, I even saw monkeys jumping through the trees last night. I had a couple of massages whilst I was there which was amazing. The food was also really delicious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

If you’re are staying in Ubud you have to try natura villa as the rooms and service is amazing they also upgraded our room to balcony and the rooms are right in the jungle, they have a very good breakfast with infinity pool. The staff here is very very helpful and sweet.
