Ohana's Beachfront Resort & Beach Club

C’est un hôtel idéal pour une famille. Ce n’était pas du tout l’ambiance club qu’on connaissait et qu’on redoutait. La soirée « disco » de vendredi s’est avérée plutôt la soirée « normale » et nous en étions ravis !! Nous avons apprécié surtout la gentillesse du personnel et 2 piscines : l’une idéale pour les petits et l’autre (arrière) idéale pour les gens qui cherchent une tranquillité.

Our family of 4 stayed in an upstairs pool view junior suite and after touring around, it really felt like it was the best choice on the island for us. The room layout was a great setup for 2 adults, 2 kids. Stylish interiors and comfy beds. As well as making up the room each day, they came back and turned down the beds nightly while we were out which was a nice touch. The guest-only pool area at the back is gorgeous and tranquil and while our kids were too old for it, the playground at the back looked like a great spot for little ones. Our kids had the best time around the fire pit and kicking the ball with other kids on the beach as the sun set and the adults had drinks. We never had trouble getting a beach sunlounge and as a guest you’re not expected to spend even if you want to park yourself there all day. Yes everything in-house was pricey - an initial shock after the lower prices in Bali - but it did reflect the quality, all the food was excellent. We had breakfast included in our rate which was off the a la carte menu and it was like eating at a great Melbourne cafe daily. SO GOOD. There was also a fab French bakery down the road with beautiful quiches and pastries. We loved our stay and hope to come back to Ohana’s in the future.

Paradise is the first word that comes to mind , the place has the most amazing vibe . The food is something to be experienced it is rated No1 on the island and when you taste it you will understand why , the staff are friendly, welcoming and very committed to making your stay a perfect holiday. This is our first time on Lembongan and we feel if we come again this would definitely be where we would stay . Thank you Ohana’s Management and Staff

Visited ohanas restaurant on numerous occasions during the holiday, amazing meze plate and pancake breakfast on offer along with a stunning evening menu would recommend the fillet medallions for a main course along with the bruschetta starter 10 out of 10 absolutely amazing but pre book a table for evening meal

A really nice place to stay on the island yet disappointing in some areas. The accomodation itself is all very nice and clean. Pool areas had a happy vibe. Breakfasts were great yet as we required gluten free options this is where it all fell apart. No idea. We were so grateful to discover a fantastic Cafe right next door that had gluten free options or our whole trip would of been a mess. The no cash thing at ohanas was also a huge letdown. It's easy to say we no longer take cash yet you're in bali on a small island that only takes cash. They also say no fees are charged for credit cards on their end which is true yet we get charged an extra changeover rate plus international usage fee from our end. Every single transaction! And the hotel insists you pay every single drink and item every time. Very messy. For this reason we simply did not eat or drink at the hotel at all. Shame though as we were staying with my brother and his family too so we couldn't all sit together at the hotel and enjoy drinks and food. The hotel is a beautiful spot to stay. Staff were OK. One particular guy went out of his way to chat to us and make our stay special but generally there was no personal touches. I'm guessing this hotel is run by Australians who have forgotten the beautiful Bali spirit. I'm sure the staff at ohanas would love their cash tips back too. It was however a pleasant stay. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Location is great. Would I stay here again? Probably not. The no cash allowed and the lack of true bali energy threw me off. Was beautiful to stay with my brother and his family though. X
