One of my best experiences I've ever made. If you strive for healing your body, your mind and your soul, its a must. All treatments are really exceptional, well-being is guaranteed. The entire team ist absolutely lovely und highly professionel and food is wonderful.

Must experience yourself. The stay was beyond expectations. The care from the moment of arrival until our departure not only raised the bar of resort stay expectations but also the will stay with us for the rest of our lives. The Ayurvedic treatments and daily wellness events are beyond peer. Dr. Mahendra is also on the resort and checks in with all guests. His care to every guest's well-being is something we cherished and won't forget. We can't wait to return.

Fantastic experience. I was looking for a place to relax, recharge and do yoga by the sea. I spent 3 weeks at Zen Resort and it delivered on everything. The staff is super friendly and caring, the Ayurvedic spa treatments incredible (most massages are 4 handed!). Terrific food and comfortable, spacious rooms and poolside for relaxing. I was also impressed with how they were able to offer yoga classes with pose variations that accommodated both beginners and advanced practitioners. I will definitely be returning!

Zen Resort is run by a community of dedicated and friendly staff who work to make your stay memorable. The food was excellent and healthy and changed each day. The treatments were amazing, relaxing, and unique experiences. Many I had never heard of or experienced. The morning meditation and yoga were a great way to structure the day and add to the experience. The heat was intense at times but there was a beautiful pool and the villa plunge pool was nice to cool off.

This place is truly magical. It's beautiful, healing, inspiring and so very relaxing. I would come back every year and will surely be back again. The spa alone is wonderful, but the gorgeous grounds and the healthy energy and many opportunities to connect with nature and to heal are so abundant. Thank you to the wonderful staff who made this such a special experience, so grateful.

Zen Resort is truly a little bit of paradise.. I had the most amazing time during my 8 days there. The Zen team are brilliant, so helpful and beautiful inside and out. The accommodation was very comfortable and beautifully maintained, gorgeous gardens, swimming pool, yoga shale and plenty of space to hang out with others or find your own space to chill. The food was delicious and loads of choices. The yoga teacher Iloo (spl?) was brilliant and a fantastic guide for mediation and breath work. I had the most amazing ayurdevic treatments - all of the practitioners were brilliant and very experienced. There is a special energy there which allows you to go deep into your practice and on whatever you are working on. Overall it was blissful. Thank you so much to the Zen team for making my stay so special.

A great experience, unique and amazing. We never had experienced this elsewhere. We felt that the people, the surrounding and the spirit of that place, were made to please us. It was just perfect. We came for 2 weeks of relaxation, and it worked! We left really relaxed, our batteries charged... In fact, we didn't want to leave Zen anymore. As it was the third time we spend some times at Zen resort, we felt like being a part of the Zen family. Friendliness, peacefulness, adapted therapy.

Traveling with a friend we truly loved our 2 week stay at the Zen Resort with a one-week Ayurveda package pre-booked and further treatments and diving booked on site. It is a tranquil oasis in the North of Bali that is not yet overcrowded by tourists. The Ayurveda treatments were heavenly - all staff at the spa were wonderfully welcoming and very well trained. The Ayurveda treatment is more focussed on wellness and relaxation rather than a fully customised medical treatment like we've experienced it in Kerala before, e.g. no medications, the food is good and healthy but not specifically adapted to your dosha although some guidance which foods to avoid and Vata/Pita/Kapha seasoning mixes are provided. This approach was absolutely perfect for us. Even better was the unique opportunity to combine the Ayurveda treatments with diving - the PADI 5 star diving school was excellent and the house reef which is only a 3 minute drive away was beautiful with lots of corals, tropical fish and even turtles. Diving at Menjangan Island was another highlight albeit a longer drive. The team was incredibly flexible to accommodate recurring changes in our schedule and preferences on treatments. We came to Zen Resort to relax and spend time together and for us this also meant sleeping longer so we missed out on the 6am meditation and morning yoga which other guests who were more interested in a healing experience seemed to enjoy very much. Everyone at the resort was very respectful of our preferences and we did manage to do a few sunset yoga sessions in the end which were expertly led.

The most beautiful place I could imagine, from the kind and heart felt warm you feel from staff to the detail and the attention in the villas and in each treatment to the freshness and creativity of the food, Zen is a place to be seen to be believed. Could not recommend highly enough!

I've visited Bali numerous times over the past 30 years as a surfer, for the surf and the always added bonus of immersion into Balinese culture, life and hospitality. Back in 2017, I was looking for something different, a retreat of sorts to take a much needed break and reset at a wellness and healing environment and I came across Zen Resort. I'll never forget that first visit. It was like discovering a secret surf spot for the first time. I had my 4th visit to Zen recently in September and it was as unforgettable, if not more so, than my first. While feeling kinda weird, if you will, to revist the same place when so many options for a similar experience exist these days all across the world , I was vindicated by another guest from Germany who was on her 4th also, and learning of another Australian guest who'd left a day earlier who was on her 10th! I can't add any more to the justifiably glowing appraisals of all previous Trip Advisor testimonials other than to say, jokingly as a surfer, "don't blow up spots" ... which is a surfer's lexicon way of saying don't give away secret, great surf locations" In Zen Resort Bali's case, I owe it to the absolutely beautiful 'everythingness' of it, to wax enthusiastically about it, and encourage all and anyone who seeks a truely all encompassing beautiful, restorative, genuine and heartfeltly delivered holistic experience. The location, the surrounds, the accomodation, the staff, the treatments, the love and genuine attention to detail staff and management offer without any performative fakeness, but pure honest hospitality. More that that, one becomes family even after one's first visit. To return, as I hope to do again, and again, is to revisit dear and loving family, who know you, who you get to know, and who love you and love what they do equally and without any pretence or performance... from the office staff to the gardeners. From the therapists to the kitchen staff, from the management to the sagacious owner. I had the pleasure of spending a week there for a retreat, and it surpassed all my expectations. The serene atmosphere, nestled in lush greenery, creates the perfect backdrop for relaxation and personal growth. The yoga and meditation sessions were transformative, led by skilled instructors who tailored each practice to individual levels and needs. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, the approach is gentle yet powerful, fostering a deep sense of inner peace. One of the highlights of the retreat was the Ayurvedic treatments. The staff is highly trained in these ancient healing techniques, and the therapies left me feeling balanced and revitalized. Each treatment felt personalized, addressing both physical and emotional needs. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a meaningful retreat!

This resort really is unbelievable. I had high expectations and I was still blown away. The setting is out of this world, the staff can't do enough for you, the food is all home grown - super healthy and the treatments are top class. I would strongly recommend doing the full package when staying here, as it is excellent value for money with so much included and you really feel totally spoilt. On a personal level, this retreat was just what I needed to disconnect and have some time for reflection. Zen Resort Bali is a really special place and I can't wait to go back!
