My recent stay at the newest Regent hotel in Southeast Asia was truly delightful, especially considering my initial slight apprehension about the service at a newly opened resort. My worries were quickly dispelled. Prior to our arrival, the communication with the dedicated Regent Experience Agent via email and WhatsApp was very helpful. Our one-bedroom suite with an ocean view was beautifully appointed. The wooden décor, blending Balinese culture with a modern feel, created a wonderful ambiance. We also appreciated the impeccable cleanliness throughout the suite and the entire resort property. The benefits of my Club membership allowed us to enjoy the well-prepared food and beverages at the Regent Club lounge. During the cocktail hour, the bartender thoughtfully created a special cocktail at my request, which was a lovely touch. The Beach Club's lively atmosphere and excellent views of Canggu beach were enjoyable. However, we did feel that in-house guests could benefit from more distinct recognition or special treatment compared to outside visitors. The main swimming pool, while beautiful, lacked a beach view. Nevertheless, the poolside service was exceptional. In the mornings, we were thoughtfully offered mineral water, fruit juice, and even pastries. Breakfast, which featured a mini buffet alongside an à la carte menu, offered slightly fewer options than I anticipated. However, the service was truly outstanding, particularly from Sunandar. His attentiveness and helpful recommendations for dishes were greatly appreciated. Finally, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Elvan Septian, the Assistant Regent Club Manager, for his truly excellent service. His attention to detail and dedication went above and beyond. Note: The mattress was too firm for us, I left the comment to Elvan. There should be the option of topper for guest other than the pillow menu.
