Eagles Rest Cottage offers comfortable accommodation in a self-catering cottage, situated 9 km outside Greytown on the R74. The cottage offers beautiful views from the veranda and guest areas, and is ideal for both business and leisure travellers. If visitors wish to have breakfast, they are welcome to contact the host to request breakfast at an additional charge.The cottage is tastefully furnished with modern furniture and comprises 3 guest rooms, accommodating 6 guests in total. The 3 guest rooms can be booked separately and guests can make use of the communal areas, or the cottage can be booked as a whole.The cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge which guests can share. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, an oven and stove, a microwave and dishwasher, and the lounge is equipped with a TV with full DStv package and Netflix. Free Wi-Fi is available. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer available.Two of the bedrooms are en suite and each contains a king-size bed, a dressing table, a wardrobe, and a luggage tray. The third bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds, a dressing table, and a luggage tray. All rooms have a coffee station and a hairdryer for guests convenience. The bathrooms are fitted with showers. Luxurious bath towels and bed linen are provided.From the veranda, guests can enjoy a stunning view of the dam and a variety of bird species. We do allow catch and release bass fishing during the day until 17:00. At 17:00 we feed our two resident fish eagles and guests can watch this while sipping on a sundowner on the veranda.The cottage and the property are well-secured and there is an alarm system if needed. Limited undercover parking is available. Braai facilities are provided for guests use, along with wood and charcoal.
