There is plenty of space to spread out with the 4 counter seats, dining table that seats up to 8, and a large living room with couch, love seat, recliner, and daybed. The main outdoor space is the deck off of the dining room overlooking the ski slopes that has a table with seating for 4. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and is very well appointed with all the tools you need to make a home cooked meal or manage take out from one of the nearby (and amazing) restaurants.Wintergreen property owners and their guests can enjoy two swimming pools during the summer; Chestnut Springs on the mountain and Rodes Farm in the valley. The two pools are in well-landscaped settings and have playgrounds for children. Since it can be cool on the mountain even in the summer, the Chestnut Springs pool is heated. Rodes Farm has a park with picnic tables, a pond, a joint pickleball and tennis court, and horseshoes. The summer pool hours for these facilities are typically 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day.Note that the The Aquatics & Fitness Center is only open to members and is not included in your stay. We are Slope-side with a full view to the North/East, Dobie Mountain Condominium, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, and recently installed all new windows so you can really enjoy the amazing views. Sunken sunroom with fireplace and spectacular view overlooking the slopes, express lift, and snowboard park. You don't have to leave the condo to watch Freestyles double cross races! Master bedroom over looking the slopes. Unit is in walking distance to the main lodge for shopping and dining. Reserved parking place. Although well known for ski season, Spring, Summer, and Fall are our favorite times of year to visit Wintergreen. There are way too many outdoor activities to list, but a couple of our favorites are hiking, wine tasting, antiquing, music festivals and The Dome, The Wintergreen Nature Center, and just sitting on our balcony taking in the fresh mountain air. The Out of Bounds Adventure Park has a skateboard park, paintball, and the recently added zipline. Professional guides are available for mountain biking. Our dog loves to go hiking all around Wintergreen. Lake Monocan is near by and has numerous activities available. Everything is centrally located and there is Shuttle service located right in front of our condo, which is available from 7AM until Midnight so driving is optional.Do you have young children? The Treehouse is a one minute walk and offers half and full day children's activities. The staff is amazing and keeps the children busy.All season resort. Our Dobie condo is situated just steps from the Wintergreen Mountain Inn, Dobie’s beginner ski lift and “The Treehouse kids center and playground”(If your dates aren’t available check out our other condo in Wintergreen “The Highlands” just under a mile further up the mountain~property ID 2202432 also ski in ski out on the Black Diamond advanced slope)Dobie condos- 2 bedroom 2 bath w/ queen sofa bed. Our condo has a personal ski locker and a dedicated parking spot just steps from the condo entrance. Newly and thoughtfully renovated top to bottom with fresh finishes throughout. Both bedrooms have brand new furniture and large closet with plenty of hangers provided. Laundry basket, lint rollers and iron and ironing board as well.Our condo sleeps 6 comfortably with a *Queen sofa bed in the sectional. You’ll find 2 full bathrooms, a shower in the Primary King bedroom and a shower/soaking tub and shower in the guest bath. Queen guest bedroom makes for a great stay for couples or children- Big smart tv’s in both bedrooms & family room- 3 TVs total.Dobie is our personal condominium when we visit Wintergreen and it is cleaned thoroughly as we would our own home.Plenty of extra linens, bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels etc. and essential paper products including paper towels, hand soap, dish soap restocked prior to every check in. We have a multi use Keurig so you can brew a big pot of coffee or bring your favorite single use K-cup flavor. Whether you’re meeting up with friends or spending time with family- take a break from the hustle and bustle atop this magical mountain resort. *While we are homeowners in Wintergreen we are no way affiliated with Wintergreen Inn Resort- you as our guests staying in our Wintergreen home have access to the Chestnut Springs outdoor pool & Pavilion open seasonally & Lake Monocan and several other activities that Wintergreen offers. *We are Not club members and Do Not have access to the indoor pool or fitness center* so please don’t book if you need access to those…Our Dobie condo is just a short walk to many lovely hiking trails or a short drive to local state parks, several wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants & antique stores. Take a short drive less than a mile up the mountain to Blue Ridge Dr. and check out the new Eatery already getting rave reviews “Fire & Frost”! Wintergreen has many lovely hiking trails or check out Historic “Monticello” the Estate of Thomas Jefferson has reopened with enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place- they offer a beautiful garden and tours of the estate & are family friendly-located in nearby Charlottesville check seasonal hours.Shenandoah National Park is just a short drive and Devils Backbone restaurant and brewery, Blue Toad Hard Cider Brewery & Bold Rock Cidery are a few of the local faves & just 15 min drive from the condo.
