The gravel road can be washed with some ruts after heavy rains. Also, in the extremes of winter when there is heavy snow or ice some of these roads may have ice. A lot of the vehicles that access the home including mine are not 4 wheel drive. However, I have had guests that have recommended that especially if you are not use to driving mountain roads. Road is state maintained and will be cleared as there are full time residents living in this region. We spent a lot of time outside on the covered patio!
