This is the perfect getaway for someone wanting peaceful surroundings, but wants access to all the action. You will need to open the privacy gate in front of the golf cart to come and go with the cart. The gate remains unlocked. You will have your own private drive on the front left of the house. This is the gate that you can enter and leave from. When arriving, you will need to park here and go through the gate and straight to the balcony steps that lead to the studio. You will have your own pass code for the keyless lock to enter the unit.A map is provided for you showing what routes you can take with the golf cart to go to the beach, grocery stores, liquor stores, etc. You can also use your car if you prefer. Our personally owned and maintained 1 bedroom (perfect size for a couple or family with 2 small children) ,1 bath, galley kitchen, unit of Bridgewater is an oceanfront condo building located within the 24- hour security patrolled gated community of Litchfield by the Sea. Since we are personally owned and operated, we email you all your check in information ahead of time, so you just have to park the car, open the door, and unpack. No waiting in LONG lines at the reception office!! We are not managed by Litchfield By The Sea, so we have our own personal cleaning company come in and do a impeccable top to bottom cleaning. The unit sleeps 4 max and is located on the 2nd floor with easy access from 3 elevators. Our condo has 2 queen size Tempur-Pedic mattresses, wooden laminate flooring, and flat screen HD TVs in living room and bedroom. The onsite laundry room for the Bridgewater building is conveniently located on the same floor, about 5 doors away. An all season indoor swimming pool is located inside on the first level with a hot tub as well. There are miles of biking. Rentals are available at the Reception building of Litchfield, and paths lead all the way to Murrells Inlet. Walking paths, lakeside fishing, and close proximity to many golf courses are all at your fingertips. You have your own private access to the beach from the oceanfront Bridgewater building. Beach chaise lounge chairs/umbrella are avail for rental and will be set up for you at the beach with your name on them. The entrance to the vessel herself is likewise protected by a combination lock. To board, one must be prepared to step upwards into the ship, and thereafter descend a modest trio of steps into the main quarters. Upon entering, you shall find yourself in the principal salon — a cozy and inviting space that adjoins the galley, the sleeping berth, and a small writing or work alcove, all conveniently situated through a door on the port side. To starboard, a second passageway leads to the head, and down stairs to the master’s cabin, and a petite verandah well-suited for quiet reflection or morning coffee. Do take note: the doorways aboard feature slight elevations and descents, as is customary with seafaring architecture. Owing to the custom of keeping the doors open to better enjoy the refreshing breezes and lovely vistas, some presence of insects is to be expected.
