Just popped in for a bite to eat in the restaurant at lunch time. The soup of the day was mushroom not our usual choice but when it tasted amazing with two brown rolls, best soup ever had. I had jacket potatoe with cheese and beans, husband had chilli both came with side salad, the potatoes were cooked beautifully. The service was quick and staff friendly and professional. Will definitely be returning next time we visit Bakewell😊well worth 5 stars 🌟

I was immediately impressed by the hotel when upon booking we received very thorough details on local parking, and advice on booking restaurants nearby. On arrival in Bakewell we decided to explore the local area on a 10 mile walk, and at 3pm David called to let us know that the rooms were ready and to ask if we needed anything, had we been able to park ok etc. We were warmly greeted by David and shown to our rooms. They were both beautifully presented, bright and spacious. Generous bathrooms, white company toiletries. Very nice. Breakfast not included but a table was ready for our party and we paid for what we had. At £11 for a full english it was good value and finished the stay off nicely for us. Staff all very pleasant and accommodating.

Called several times before our stay and no one ever answers. During our stay no one ever on reception. No one in reception when we checked out so just left. Room ok but for £200 a night with no breakfast and no parking was well over priced and as far as the word luxury is concerned 😂😂really, not even close.

We had a gorgeous 2 night stay, staff and service were excellent. Staff went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very clean and have all amenities we needed. We eat a couple of meals at the H Bar and Restaurant. The food was delicious, excellent portions and very reasonably priced. A really enjoyable, relaxing break.

Spotless spacious room , comfortable bed , all amenities catered for , quality furnishings, decor etc. breakfast was outstanding with wonderful local produce , a great find in the centre of Bakewell , thank you David for your professional friendly service

Great place to stay. Excellent location, friendly staff and fantastic rooms. We stayed in the Hassop suite which was amazing, really clean and modern. Only slight downside was the fact breakfast wasn’t included with the price. Would highly recommended and will definitely be back!

Booked this hotel for our visit to Chatsworth House. Have stayed twice before and each time, couldn't find a fault. A very warm welcome from David. The hotel has a very homely feel, room was spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The bed was HEAVEN! Breakfast in the morning was delicious, plenty of options were available and served very fast. Will definitely stay again and recommend to everyone!

Just returned from a weekend stay at The H hotel . Very friendly welcome from David on arrival , all the staff we encountered there were polite and friendly.Lovely spacious room, spotlessly clean and very large comfortable bed. Great central location in Bakewell. Would highly recommend.
