We stayed here for 2 nights on our trip through Wisconsin. It was a wonderful experience - the room was beautiful and the views were spectacular. Got to watch the sun rise through the giant picture window. They have a nice yard and dock area. I loved sitting in one of their chairs reading and hearing the waves crash. They don't provide breakfast, but the Morning Glory food truck is just a 10 minute walk up the street. It was easy to get from the motel around to all of the Door county stuff we wanted to do. The only problem is that it's a little farther out of town than I would have liked - but then, I was able to walk off my consumed calories.

This was a last minute find due to a cancellation they had. The views out the windows of the lake are outstanding and the rooms were very clean and kept up well. It looked like new locks and shower stalls were recently added as well. Well located just outside the bustling downtown of Baileys Harbor. We will be back.

We were driving into Town for the weekend. Saw this motel and stopped by. Will not be staying. The owner was incredibly rude and yelled at my family for no reason. I would not recommend this motel. Stay somewhere else and you’ll have a better experience.

Square Rigger Harbor Motel has so many wonderful advantages: friendly and efficient owners, convenient location on Highway 57 and off street parking, competitive prices,large spectacularly clean rooms located on the lake, and so many marvelous accommodations: microwave, mini refrigerator, large flat screen TV, comfortable queen beds, great nautical decorations, glassware, binoculars, even area information magazines. We don’t stay anywhere else when we’re in Door County!

I have stayed in hotels and motels from coast to coast, other countries, chains and sole proprietors...this is by far the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in! There were many little things that were over and above, which you don't get everywhere these days: water bottles, hand soap pump, wine glasses, 2 luggage holders, area magazines, grill, beach chairs, fore pit, at door parking, in addition to the usual amenities. Well done, Joe and Nancy, well done!

Very nice owners,.. clean looking room with great water view but horrific musty smell upon entering rooml!! I had to take an arsenal of medications to combat my asthma symptoms from the mold smell. I was not able to get good sleep for the 3 nights we stayed. There were no other rooms avail in town. Do NOT stay if you have asthma or other respiratory allergies!! This was obviously not their first go around with this issue. They were apologetic BUT didn't offer a free night or anything to make us feel better.It was def NOT worth $250 per night. I would NOT stay there again! Upon returning home I realized my clothes were permeated with musty smell... everything had to be washed and or dry cleaned. :(
