Rancho Pacifico - Boutique Hotel for Adults

This was my second time staying at Rancho Pacifico. The first time I went solo and had another 5 star experience. This time I brought my family because I felt like it was the perfect location for a quiet refuge that would be accommodating for my parents who are a bit older and need a bit more attention and support. The Rancho Pacifico staff once again went above and beyond to make our stay beyond imaginable. The meals are 5 star-- unique each day, optimized for health and tailed to your needs (we had 1 Gluten Free guest with us who never went without). We stayed in the Whales Tail Villa (3 bedrooms) and it really is stunning. It's a tad higher up the mountain that the main building with a spectacular view that meets the clouds with the perfect angle for observing the Whale Tail Beach. It's perched up in the mountains and immersed in nature. It has a dip pool and ample space. Each level has its own bedroom so even with my family, we felt we each had our own section of the home. I really leaned on the RP staff for assistance organizing the stay this time. The RP staff helped me book an ATV for a few days that they had dropped off and picked up from the hotel. They also booked tours and experiences for us that included horseback riding, scuba diving, snorkeling, beach trips, massages and more. Everything in a payment perspective was managed inside my RP account and I payed at the end of my stay. The Concierge team was my main point of contact in organizing the entire week and really simplified and managed the trip in its entirety which I initially thought was going to be very intensive to coordinate schedules. I cannot say enough positive things about this resort. It is private, its discrete, its a hideaway, its a refuge, it really is a sanctuary but also a place that you can have celebration whether that be with your family, a loved one, a honeymoon or a solo expedition. Rancho Pacifico is the must-stay destination in the Uvita area. There is not anything else like it.

This is the perfect location for The Bakari Foundation retreat coordinators to stay during our annual transformative healing retreats. This is our 3rd year using RP and the entire team is AMAZING and the VIEWS are like none other! The food is fresh, unique, and delicious and the rooms are so comfortable and cozy that you hate to have to leave them. The property is so safe you don't have to worry about locking your door. We love spending time chatting with the RP team and view them as an extension of our retreat team. If you're looking for a secluded location to unwind and get acquainted with nature, Rancho Pacifico is the place to visit.

I stayed at Rancho Pacifico for 7 days on a yoga retreat and cannot wait to go back. I can’t say enough about the entire staff and the caliber of the accommodations. Everyone who works there is incredibly thoughtful and makes it their goal to ensure that you have the best experience possible. We stayed in the Whales Tail villa and the views were breathtaking — the photos do not do it justice. Food each day was fresh, creative, thoughtfully prepared and delicious, all while taking into consideration the many dietary restrictions that our group had. Looking forward to spending another week at the resort next year!

An incredible boutique hotel! Everyone was so kind & helpful, the views were unbelievable & the food was some of the best I have ever had! The rooms were clean, spacious & comfortable & the amenities were wonderful. Great excursions offered & even the hikes around the hotel were beautiful. I cannot wait to come back! I had the pleasure of staying at RP during a yoga Retreat with Soul Sweat Hot Yoga. I only have POSITIVE things to say. RP management and staff accommodated our groups dietary needs, provided high quality yoga equipment and arranged exciting excursions in addition to so much more. This resort is located in the most beautiful mountain scape close to whale tail island. The atmosphere, accompanied with the Fantastic staff, cultivated an unforgettable experience. The food was incredible to say the least. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene. The staff treated us like family and royalty. Everyone was kind, respectful, and responded quickly. I felt like a queen. I stayed in the Puma Treehouse which had a breathing view. The monkeys were my morning alarm and the peaceful chirps from crickets acted as my sleep machine. The bed was comfy and clean. 10/10 recommend. will definitely be returning

We were in the area and did a quick stay at Rancho Pacifico. Costa Rica, Uvita, and Rancho Pacifico are special places. The service is unparalleled, the food/drinks are memorable, and the view of the whale tail is breathtaking! We even met the owners!
