We spent our honeymoon at akway beragala. A breathtaking view with extremely comfortable rooms with everything. The staff is the best. So welcoming, nice and very good communication. Food was exceptional. Amazing packages and best value for money.

Very friendly staf. They all made us feel very welcome during our entire stay. The views from the hotel are spectaculair even when the weather isnt cooperating😉 The pool,is very clean and from there the views are the same. The food is very good.

Our staff visited Akway Resort in last May for the first time. Since making the reservation till the end it was wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. The chief chef was a Tamil person who has friendly smile always. They treat us very well and we were really satisfied. We tried several dishes such as Indian, Chinese and Sri Lankan. There were children friendly area, cleaned swimming pool also. The atmosphere is really calm and chilled. The rooms also very nice and had luxurious look. We hope to visit again. Thank you!

This post is dedicated to the magnificent views at @akway_beragala and the exceptional hospitality provided by the staff and management. We took the Ella Odyssey train from Colombo Fort, arriving at Demodara station at 3:45 pm after a fantastic journey. The hotel arranged a shuttle service from the station to the hotel at a very reasonable price. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a high tea, complete with a breathtaking view that refreshed us and erased our travel fatigue. From the moment we stepped into this beautiful hotel nestled in the Beragala hills, we couldn't take our eyes off the stunning landscapes that surrounded us. The staff and management were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our stay was filled with amazing experiences and delicious food, which was both kid-friendly and adaptable to local and international tastes. Thank you, @akway_beragala! We look forward to visiting again and highly recommend this place to all our friends and family. **Tips:** - Don't forget to experience the village lunch after the waterfall trail. - If you order Sri Lankan food, make sure to specify your preferred spice and oil levels to suit your taste.

We had a fantastic experience at the Akway Resort in January 2024. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable with great amenities. Breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains can be seen from the room. Once again, Thank you Madhura and Kushan for the excellent service. Overall, I highly recommend Akway Resort for a pleasant stay.

Terrible hotel, despite great surroundings. At first glance, everything seemed fine. In the room, however, horror awaited us. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls due to the humidity, mold in the bathroom and huge cracks in the walls, dirty towels. The bathtub was dirty. The restaurant looked like a storeroom with stacked chairs. Cobwebs and spiders felt very comfortable in the restaurant lamps. We weren't sure about the quality of the food, whether we should really eat it or not. There were only 4 dishes to choose from. People with food intolerances will not get their money's worth here. The service does what it can, it's not good but still very polite and nice. I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel and was glad that we left the hotel after one night.

This modern hotel is situated on a steep hillside that drops away towards the South providing really spectacular views over wooded hills apparently almost devoid of human habitation. It is located a short distance away from the main A4 road some 7-8 km out of Haputale. THe bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed, not very large, but more than adequate and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were very taasty, although there wasn't much choice - but there were few guests in residence apparently. THe bar arrangements were basic - the bar itself seemed to b locked up, but some beers werre obtained from somewhere. The welcome and service were very friendly. We enjoyed this place and will not forget the remarkable view.

There is no arrangement in their hotel. Then they won't respond to us. The food was properly arranged. Some dishes are not even steamed. We don't get a good feeling from there according to the money spent. So think twice while spending your money in this regard. In the full board, we got raw milk rice and cordial as breakfast, and as dessert we got only a few pieces of banana and papaya cut into small pieces the previous day. Although we informed them about it, they did not give any response for us, so I say once again to think twice before going for this. thank you.

We were there in december firstt tone of the receptiionist is falll of short and unwel come and attitude to inefficiient service and rooms are dirty and smelly food is basic for the price not recommend

We were booked this hotel as 4th one when we going around the sri lanka for our honeeymoon it was take much time to checking and rooms ok we selected 2 floor room and some times its getting bad smell with the wind when we went to balcony there,s right side corner there,s full of garbage bins i think that smell,s come from there food is very bad with bad presentation all the staff i think trainee,s with no smile specialy receptionist she dont know any thing about the hotel or around the areas every questions her reply was i dont know i morning we dont have hot water my opinion is avoid this hotel

We were booked on our honeymoon trip for this hotel ,hotel it self is beautiful brandnew property ,first we were happy to in there ,but when we checking in heavy rain no body to pickup to hotel, receptionist is very slow of upon checking and checkout rooms are with moderate facilities but not cleaned and bed linen are smelly and dirty hot water not working ,even we gave our food order earlier it was late, and cold tasteless , pool was not cleaned breakfast is worse ever we had luckily we had one night booked there totally ruined our special day i dont recommend this hotel

It's a awful hotel Service, Food & Rooms all were absurd. We booked the hotel for 02 nights but due to the horrible experience we checked out the next day. Best of it is they lie to you when taking the reservation. Pls don't waste your hard earned money on this hotel.

We are booked this property by booking .com they have been keep blocking until it opens i will write here and definetely write there We were far from the yala straight to this hotel very tired with kids ,the receptionist lady take too much time to checking even we ask she is disrespectedly and ignored for quick ckecking what we ask ,and other thing is there is no elevator very tough to go 2nd floor for my old people cannot reach and main thing in this hotel is the staff is not well trained angry faces no smiles no cleanlines unhygine, cook serving food. no worse food ever tasted upon the checkout we ask the receptionist to arrange bills bkz we were hurry to colombo even we were went to front office she is waitng or us definetly we will write on bookig .com
