Residenza Pierre et Vacances Badus

We were 3 families with small children, so place was quite good to keep an eye on them and gave us a possibility to enjoy meal, while they were running around. However accomodation itself had some flaws, we had 1 bedroom apartmen on 1st floor. It looked fine, as we did expect from photos. What did not work for us, was that we could not have shower all 3 of us at once. Usually only 2 people manage to wash, boiler has been always ON. Another really bad thing was constant smell from bathroom (from toilet pipes!). Lastly, normaly they offer possibility of breakfast, but for some reason they decided to cut season short and we could not have breakfat at all. We came in September. Overall, location was also really good and there are lots of nice beaches around. Li Junchi was with free parking at that time.

Residence Badus is overall a really nice place to stay. We stayed in the new blocks of flats, across the road of the reception, going up up up the hill in one of the top flats so we had an AMAZING view - they accommodated our request to be on the top floor, not ground, thank you. We just didn’t know the actual set up of the buildings, which is a bit all over the place, not in one site. We thought we would be staying where all the beautiful flowers and swimming pool is, but that was not the case - it’s a completely separate building (all brand new though!! Brilliant space, brand new furniture, great sized bathroom - but shower wasn’t good). We were very disappointed though that the main swimming pool (although far from our apartment) was going through refurbishment so it was closed. Very disappointing as there was no information about it prior to our trip and we were SO looking forward to stay in the apartments overlooking the pool and being able to use it!! The only pool available was a small one that looked more like a private pool to two apartments - and with kids playing there, absolutely forget about relaxing by the pool. I didn’t go in at all during the whole week. Also, the reception is closed for a while so if you need to speak to anyone, be aware. On our check out (around 8:30am) reception was closed and we didn’t know where to leave our keys, so we left with someone in the bar. There could be just a box for us to drop the keys in at check out, it’s such a simple fix. Overall we had a nice stay albeit the negatives mentioned above. Ah!! And the flowers and cactus are soooo beautiful!!

Very nice and friendly welcome in the night. Clean rooms and Pool , good restaurant and Bar.. Good region to explore the north of Sardegna . We did some interesting hikes around Costa Paradiso and Isola Rossa , visited Castelsardo , Aggius and Santa Teresa di Gallura.

-Poor harmony between the reservation and the local offices, the payment of the remaining 50% of the reservation had to be done in cash, it could not be by card. -They didn't know that the three apartments reserved by me were a group. -In the American kitchen there is no room for anything, all the space occupied by a sink, stove and microwave. -At night it seemed like you were entering a cave because of the low light from the fluorescent bulbs, very old!! -There was no simple toaster, you had to toast the bread in the microwave.

A VERY PLEASANT STAY A very nice, spacious, clean apartment. No complaints at all. Will definitely return.

Very nice place, the residence itself clean, garden and the courtyard full of flowers, swimming pool and the area around has been cleaned every day, staff nice and helpfull, bar everytime open, we went for breakfast there (was servinf also simple lunch, such as hamburgers and salads). In the evening, the restaurant was at disposal. The only minus was that our appartment (estimated for 6 people) - we were 5, was a bit small. When we unpacked the couch in the main room, there was almost no place for the kitchen table and chairs. But we were siting on the terrase all the time. Badesi is a typical italian village. Some restaurant, ice cream, gas station, pharmacy, and grocery shop in the town. At the entry of the village there is Superconcas (supermarket) where you can buy everything you need (grocery, drug store, household equipment, beach stuff...). The sea is easily accesible by car (by foot it was a long walk, approx. 30min (Badesi is moreover uphill), however, we did in the evening). The sea was clear and clean. Nice area to stay. We did trips into surroundings. But bear in mind that the Gallura area is mountaniuos and roads full of curves. But we enjoyed our stay much.
