Atlantica Aeneas Resort

I have waited a couple of weeks to write this review as I have very mixed feelings about our holiday. We spent a week at the hotel during half term and whilst we enjoyed the trip and made the most of beautiful Nissi beach and the wonderful October sunshine I would not return to this hotel. The entertainment, for a 5 star hotel, is aimed mostly at young children. Apart from a solo singer in the bar by Reception there really is nothing else aimed towards adults. The outdoor entertainment area is pretty much an evening kids club. It is such a shame as the potential and space is there but the will to entertain adults just isn’t. The food was OK but seldom hot. The drinks were average and served in plastic glasses, even indoors. I completely understand the need for plastic by the pool but would have liked to enjoy a nice drink in a real glass in the evenings. I purchased a bottle of perfume on my outward trip and left it on the side in the room. Stupidly, I forgot to pack it and contacted the hotel as soon as we arrived at Larnaca airport to say where I had left it. I was told they would check with housekeeping but was told it had not been found. This left a sour taste in my mouth as I could tell them exactly where it was and even suggested they should investigate further but have had no more contact from the hotel. They didn’t care. All in all the staff were not very friendly but I wondered if that was due to tiredness as it was the end of season.

Our final day here after a 11 day stay with our daughter and her family . A very good, large, family hotel which is really close to the lovely Nissi Beach- which is beautiful and safe for swimming . Hotel and grounds are lovely and very clean. Pools are lovely too but too cold to swim in this late in the season as not heated . The food is really great - so much choice and we have all enjoyed it. We came in October half term and hotel was full and it was so hard to get sunbeds, both at the hotel and the beach. Then this last week, before the hotel closes for the winter, it’s absolutely dead ! Hardly anyone here at all which has completely changed the atmosphere and the food has dropped off a bit too. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a lovely family hotel but do not come right at the end of the season .

Last minute booking to this hotel and I must say I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for relaxing and enjoying your holiday. From the moment we arrived the staff and atmosphere of the hotel is above and beyond. We chatted with the public relations manager Anna and she was very helpful and courteous, and recommended places to visit and see.

Visited the Atlantic Aeneas for a 10 day family holiday from Oct 23rd to Nov 3rd 2024. The first three days of my holiday were spent with my partner and seven days with family including young children. After reading reviews I was concerned over the choice of hotel however these fears were unfounded. I thought the Atlantica Aeneas was a excellent base for our holiday. Starting with our room 461 which was more the adequate for our needs ( never stayed in a room with so much storage space) The room was quiet and overlooked a small garden and enjoyed the sun all day and was an excellent suntrap maybe would not suit everyone but was great for us!... The complex was huge but was well maintained with lots of activities for young children. The restaurant although busy at peak times offered a great selection of food for adults and kids alike and I could not fault. The staff were helpful and accommodating. All in all I really enjoyed staying at the Atlantica Aenas and I would recommend for a visit for young families ( there was also quiet places for adult only customers). My only criticism is the pool was a bit cold during my visit but I put that down to the time of year visited. Location is perfect to the most beautiful beach , my 8 year old had a fantastic time with kids club shout out to and entertainment team , shout out to Nikos who makes the perfect Highland dream cocktail.... thanks to all the team , l will be back next October, see you then .

Great hotel special thanks to savriola at the wet bar and reception who left wine and fruit in my room for my birthday thank you we will be back great food rooms nice so many choices of swimming pool areas to choose from and most of all plenty of sun recliners
