Kaveri Ayurveda Resort

Looks great from the outside, but that’s all smoke and mirrors. The common areas are nice, but there are dogs, cats, and way too many flies around. Once you get to the rooms, it’s another story: very old, everything feels dated, and the bathroom is full of limescale – shower and fixtures look neglected. The food? Honestly terrible, both breakfast and dinner. The staff is kind and polite, but unfortunately that alone cannot make up for such a disappointing stay. A place that promises a lot but delivers very little – more like burnt roast than anything else.

Nice resort with very nice ambience.. Good spacious rooms. Staff always wearing smile !! Main disappointing part is Indian Vegetarian food. We stayed for 1 night and being pure vegetarian, could not eat anything from TDH menu they have offered.

We stayed 3 nights and felt very welcomed by Envri and the staff. What a calm and quiet environment this hotel is build. It’s located in the „forest“, so by night the animals come to the trees around the houses. Good hospitality and great food. Pool area is big and gets cleaned everyday. The eleven years of the hotel you see in some parts of the hotel. Some facilities needs some maintenance but when you tell the staff they immediately get staff done 👌🏻

The Hotel was excellent but if you want a massage or facial your skin colour matters very much. I went for a facial and massage. Was told the lady had gone home as she had no appointments but will call her and she will be 10 mins can I wait. I said OK. Waited and White lady came after me. When the person doing the massage came I was told she is busy with another client they will come and get me from my room in 20 minutes. I knew this was a blatant lie as I understand the Sinhalese. I heard them ask her if they can do both together and she said it was impossible. So although I was first the colour of my skin mattered. I did say to them I am not coming I will come back when my skin colour turns white. They tried to then make amends by sending someone to accompany us to dinner and he asked how my facial and massage went and I told him and his reply was that tourism is low at the moment so they took her first. I said in the UK you can be any colour but it goes with first come first serve basis and not the colour of your skin or if you are a tourist. I was born in Sri Lanka but have lived 50 years in UK. I am a tourist as well and this was about my 5 trip to SL in the 50 years. The price was the same as there was a price list. So why should someone go first because of the colour of their skin. I heard all the conversations because I am fluent in English and Sinhalese. This resort should say for people with White complexions ONLY

i recently stayed at Kaveri Resort and had a truly pleasant experience. The resort is beautifully maintained with lush greenery, peaceful surroundings, and a calm ambiance that's perfect for a getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was courteous and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The food at the restaurant was delicious, offering a good mix of local and standard cuisine. I especially enjoyed the serene atmosphere by the pool and the scenic views around the property. Overall, Kaveri Resort is a great choice for anyone looking to relax and unwind. I look forward to coming back again.

As a medical student constantly on the go, and with my husband being a busy businessman, we both truly needed a peaceful escape — and this beautiful hotel gave us just that. Even more special, we got to enjoy it all with our little toddler, who loved every moment with us. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by calm, nature, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect — not just with nature, but with ourselves and our little one. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with every detail designed to bring peace and comfort. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make us feel cared for. One of the sweetest highlights was the surprise cake — such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more memorable.
