We were very glad to have stayed here. Staff are friendly and speak English well. The hotel is very quiet and we slept well. Rooms can be small, especially your private bathroom, but we got used to it. Kettle and tea and coffee are provided in your room. We could open our window wide to set our chosen ventilation level. Breakfasts are large and enjoyable, including eggs and excellent home-made yoghurt. The location of the hotel is truly perfect. You’re very close to the central Place de Horloge where there are many outdoor restaurants. All the main Avignon sights are easy walking distance. The visit-worthy Calvet art gallery is just a few doors from the Mignon. Even the Avignon Centre Rail Station, a little further away, is an easy walk. The well-preserved historic street, where the hotel is located, is occupied by many small, discreetly chic clothes or jewellery shops. Their shop window displays are often works of art which adds enjoyment to walks to and from the hotel.

It’s a lovely hotel with an excellent location and very friendly service. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it offers great value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

What a fantastic location. You feel like a local living in the Hotel Mignon. Leo and his wife really care about each customer. They dealt with UPS shipments for us and knew everything there was to know about the city. Rooms were older but very comfortable. Slept great there. Location central to everything. I would recommend this hotel for its authenticity. Excellent.

I absolutely loved my weekend stay at Hotel Mignon. It was such an amazing spot for the price! The owners were extremely welcoming and kind - and upon my arrival, I was generously upgraded from a single room to a double. Avignon is already a very walkable city, but Hotel Mignon’s location is perfect - just a five minute walk to the Pont and the Palais, and located on a street with lots of cute shops. My room was warm, the bed was comfortable, the shower was warm and spacious, and the view out onto the street was lovely. I didn’t take advantage of the hotel breakfast but it smelled great! It was nice and quiet pretty much 24/7! I highly recommend this spot, especially for solo travelers like myself!

I had no reservation. I spoke with the proprietor, Leo, for many minutes. I asked if I could stay and he gave me a room for 2 nights at a very reasonable rate. His english was perfect and he gave great directions and great recommendations for sites to see in Avignon. I had several conversations with him during the course of my stay; a sort of friendship. His hotel is within steps to the heart of the city and easy walking distance to the historic sites, shops, and restaurants. I was fortunate to stay there.

I had a lovely stay in Hotel Mignon at the end of March 2025. I found that the hotel owners could not have been nicer or more friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean and well decorated. There was a lovely friendly, family style atmosphere which could be difficult to get in a larger, more impersonal hotel. Unfortunately I had an accident on holidays requiring a visit to the accident and emergency hospital and the hotel owners both went out of their way to help me and went above and beyond in their level of kindness. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked accommodation at Hotel Mignon for our son to attend Ecole Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and it was a perfect stay for him. Extremely convenient. The Hotel was extremely helpful pre visit and very accommodating during the visit. The breakfasts were lovely and the room very comfortable. An ideal spot. As parents, we are now looking forward to staying in future at Hotel Mignon and meeting the staff.

It was a very nice and cosy place. I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Avignon. It is very well located, close to the historical places. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but nicely decorated. The bathroom was also small but enough to my liking, and well equipped.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Mignon. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Avignon. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotels architecture and design was impressive. The hotel dates back to the 13th century and was used as a shelter. The breakfast was delicious. We had homemade yogurt!. The room was clean and has AC. We would recommend it to all our close friends. We had a great time there. Magnifique!

One of my best experiences in Avignon, the hotel has an amazing location, comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast. I visited many historical places near the hotel. Places like Post Saint Bénézet and the Pope's Palace. I just had to walk around and enjoy the peace of the area.

I stayed here with my friend in October, and we had an incredible experience! The room was always cleaned and they would leave us with teas, soap, and coffee everyday. It is well located, right in the center of town. 20 min walk from the train station. Most importantly, I have to mention that the couple who owns the place are so kind and accommodating! At one point they helped us open a wine bottle that we couldn't figure out haha. The man at reception also gave us some great suggestions for exploring the city and taking a day trip. Any requests we had, they always helped with, and they made us feel very at home as Americans. Thank you so much for making our trip even better! Definitely, stay here for the great price and comfortable experience :)

Located right in the centre of town in the old part surrounded by gorgeous architecture Hotel Mignon sits. The staff were lovely, spoke English and looked after me well. I had a cozy room to myself that looked out over the city. Watching the sun set over it is something I’ll keep with me. 10/10 would absolutely stay there again.
