The tourist heart of our city of art and history of Auxerre, our Marine suite (attic), is located on the 2nd floor of our charming guest house "Sweet Thoughts". You will stay under the stars in a series of three very romantic room with exposed beams and views over the rooftops of the city! Of course, you have to love old houses, earth, stone and wood, which they are made! Ours of 17 th century. At the time, it was a wine house, and the vineyards were to throw like waves at the foot of the house, which included, in the cellar, a wine vat! (it is still there!). Because our cellar is a real wine cellar, (today, Auxerre vineyards -ravagés the 19 th century by the Phyloxera -.! Were pushed to the Chablis, but there are still (for insiders and collectors)! a vestige of that era, set in the grounds of the psychiatric hospital "the closed Chainette the" only Auxerre vineyard cultivated one survivor still see absolutely, with the Cathedral St Etienne, 2nd gothic!
