Must improve service

Fantastic service and food. Location prime and decor sublime. Jillian was our server and she was beyond amazing. We had the lemon pancakes and shrimp and grits. Great place to enjoy a delightful meal. Total experience gets the chefs kiss .

We stayed here with for a wedding in Austin. The hotel is impressive & delivers 100% in almost all areas. From the welcome champagne at checkout, hotel/ front desk staff was terrific. Very comfy beds & pillows. Rooftop pool & bar were wonderful & check out the view there around sunset! Staff for the most part was a 10. Re: housekeeping, they came to our room a few times, however never actually cleaned/ picked up trash, etc. We were leaving one time & told them to give us 30 min. & they could clean them. They never came back, however when we saw them in the hall they were very generous with extra clean towels. This wasn't really a huge deal but thought I'd share. Stella San Jac restaurant had terrific & delicious (although rather pricey) food both times we ate there, service could be better. Very slow to get to your table (even with reservation), and meals take awhile to deliver. However the food was excellent. Azul pool & bar were great. We never ate there (as we were not offered any menus any of the times we were visiting there). Drinks were decent. The view is spectacular from there!! Speaking of no menus - there were a couple times we would have ordered room service but we never saw a menu for this or how to order anywhere in the room or hotel. That was a bit disappointing. It should be noted that parking there is $69 per day! Parking in Austin is a challenge, so we paid it. But it added $276 for our 4 day stay!! While I've noted these small things above, we would not hesitate to stay there again when we return to Austin!

I am not the kind of hotel guest who ever flames a property. But this hotel changed that. I would rate the Westin Downtown Austin a zero, if possible. It's stunning how shabby this hotel -- a Westin, no less -- has been. Elevators out of service or in poor condition, including broken buttons to even call the elevators. Disgusting hallways that don't look like they have been vacuumed in months. Shower fixtures that are wobbling. Shower doors that allow the water to gush into the bathroom floor. Housekeeping that never made up a guest room despite being reminded 3x that they missed said room. When asked to take care of bringing fresh towels and empty trash cans at least, they simply dumped clean towels on the floor and an extra empty trash can in front of the door. The absolute worst experience as a Bonvoy member that I have ever encountered. Never, ever, stay here. I will be stunned if hotel management does more that's say "sorry you had a stay that wasn't satisfactory..." Sadly I felt a needto warn others to stay away from this trainwreck hotel while only halfway through my stay.

We went to Stella San Jac for happy hour and dinner. We sat at the bar and Vanni provided excellent service. Happy Hour specials were great. We had hish puppies and bruschetta appetizers and both were delicious. I highly recommend Stella San Jac.

Excellent food and service , waiter Solo was informative , attentive and very personable.Solo made great food recommendations from appetizers to dessert. Deviled eggs great, chicken and pork meals delicious. Peanut Butter pretzel pie yummy. Would definitely come back here again.

Loved the hotel vibe. The room was great. Loved the pillows and the shower head. They were luxurious touches. The fitness room and roof are beautiful., And the restaurant has great food. Get the short rib Mac and cheese. Shout out to my server Yndira who was kind, helpful, attentive, and funny!

Food was great, the grilled cheese was sooo fye ! Drink were amazing and our waitress Yndira. Was awesome she made us feel like we were home ! Would definitely come back ! The app is making write a minimum of 200 characters for whatever reason.(done)

Our service with Yndira was phenomenal. She was informative about the menu selection, and gave us a detailed overview of everything pertaining to the food and drinks. Quick service, and she was very polite and warm. I would love to have her as my waitress again.
