Upscale ATX Music Condo in East Austin minutes from downtown

Disappointing- only the art is cool Our family was very disappointed with this VRBO, from the time we pulled up to a gate that didn’t work with the code we were given (in a less than desirable neighborhood) to the time we left the next morning and requested a refund for our second night (which we didn’t get, and we didn’t stay there). The space smelled bad, had stains on 2 of the 3 mattresses (and no mattress covers as the owner said there should be), outlets that pull out of the wall when you try to plug in/unplug cords, obvious areas that haven’t been cleaned for quite some time (dirt all around the air vents. Baseboards, etc) and a horribly placed electrical cord that attaches to the shower head….just some of the frustrations. We arrived very late so we tried to sleep for a few hours (after immediately texting the host) and woke the next morning to leave with further frustration as neither the host nor VRBO wanted to assist. We had to pay for the second night even though we didn’t stay there and there was no attempt to resolve the situation. The art is cool and they’ve done some decent time work but other than that this place is definitely not somewhere we’d stay again and would not recommend it.

East Austin Location The location was good for visiting the COTA race track 4 days in a row. Also made easy access to downtown Austin. Creme cafe is a great place within waling distance for coffee each morning. Quiet location.

Great place/Awesome Location Very easily accessible for a football game weekend. Very close to everything that we needed. UT Campus, 6th Street, Lady Bird Lake, State Capitol Building, airport, and Downtown Austin. We would definitely stay here again. Host were great! The place had everything that we needed. Only thing that others might find a problem with, which I didn't, was that the hot water took a while to come around. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

Great stay! Super clean place with everything needed. In a convenient location and had parking. The owner was quick to answer my questions and very firendly. Would definitely stay again if visiting Austin!
