We stayed here for two nights pre Christmas. We are two adults and our 17 year old daughter.What sets this hotel apart is the quality of the Staff. Anita in reception is what hospitality is all about, Her friendly greetings, always got a smile and seems to be always brushing up, cleaning and making sure guests are looked after. Deborah was another stand out, in the breakfast and reception. Being from Ireland we had never had Gritts, Deborah prepared it for us, and showed us how it should be eaten . What great customer service. On reception Deborah also made sure we had everything we needed. These two ladies are the ethos of the Marriott way in customer service. Had a lovely two days and the hotel felt very homely. Lovely rooms, clean, good air con. good kitchen facilities. If we are ever in Augusta again would not stay anywhere else.Staff can make or break a stay. These ladies just made our stay. Well done.
