STAY AWAY!!!!!! I read your reviews prior to booking this hotel and against my better judgment booked anyway, because there was no other availability in Augusta. MAJOR MISTAKE! I had a confirmed reservation and when I arrived, after driving 2 hours, I was told that my reservation was canceled. They claim the hotel was oversold and that they sent ******* a message to refund my money. There was no such message sent, per *******. These folks are heartless and money hungry. They canceled my reservation because they knew they could get more money from FEMA for the hurricane victims. Post FEMA, you will be looking for regular customers. It's ashame that Choice Hotels does not hold you accountable for booking dirty rooms, canceling reservations, not honoring member perks and benefits or having good customer service. These hotels are being bought by Indians and they are downgrading the brand. I WILL NEVER BOOK YOUR HOTEL AGAIN or any other Choice Hotel for that matter. I will sleep in my car first.

Staff was not friendly and it seemed that even our checking in was an effort to them. When room was not cleaned the best that the staff could do was to provide new towels in the room. We were informed the room was not cleaned as we had left the do not disturb sign on the door. There in fact was a do not disturb sign on the door but it was removed when we left at 10 AM well before checkout time and there was no sign on the door when we returned to the room late in the afternoon. When pointed out to the general manager the next morning he only could say I don't know what happened. No concession was offered even though a sign in the room stated "We promise to make it right or you won't pay for that part of your stay".

This hotel is hard to locate. There weren't many cars in the parking lot so we were concerned about that but we realize we were travelling in an off-season. We asked the night clerk how to get to Augusta National Golf Club and she had no idea what we were talking about. She said she had been asked that question before, DUH!! Being off season, I think the rate was a little high or maybe it was all the extra fees and taxes (total of $17 in fees and taxes). Breakfast was very good as we have found with most Comfort Inn & Suites.

When I got into the room, the night table was sticky, upon examination it looked as if someone had put a cup on the table top and the mark of the cup was still there and very sticky.....I proceeded to clean it, but by then, I wondered what else was dirty.....the armchair and the foot rest were also dirty from foot prints and wear and tear....Since the only thing that really matters to me when I stay in a hotel is CLEANLINESS, this did not pass muster. So I was quite disappointed especially because the room ended up being $91.49...not so cheap for this town. I also want to mention that someone rang my room at 3 AM....by the time I got to the phone no one was there....I called the front desk, but they said they hadn't called anyone.....So I got awakened in the middle of the night...not what I was looking for...... Would not come back.

Relatively new construction simple motel with adequate rooms but poor communication from manager and grumpy front desk. Ice machine broken. Crowded breakfast setup. Small lobby with equipment boxes covering part of one wall. Near lots of restaurants.

Driving through on our adventures this place was on our way. Clean and quiet night. Breakfast in the morning was a typical morning find. Small eating area compared to some. Not a golfer, so cant say how far from the greens this place is, but Augusta is well known in the golfing world. .

No food options close. Dark, isolated. Checked in at 930pm. Staff sent me to my room--when I opened the door, the room was occupied, clothes on the floor/towels, food on counter. I went back down to the lobby. Staff did not apologize. Told me they did not have any more of my room available (2 queen room). Sent me at 10 pm to another property not owned by the hotel that was 15 min away. This second property was managed by the first property manager and was terrible (mold, water damage, hole in wall, construction dust all in room). Stay away and pick a hotel closer to options and stay were the hotel staff will not be non-courteous and send their clients to a poorer situation.
