Good location and excellent value for money Very spacious room with good amenities Minor issues were that the room was quite minimalist - for example no shelf in the shower area and I wasn't able to communicate a late check in without phoning, although think this is a more general issue with Trip than the hotel itself

The room was in good condition and the location was very near to nearby restaurants and other attractions.

Gamma Hotel is in a convenience place to stay. We took public bus to Mt Eden, just walked 5 min to bus stop. Walked 10min to Train station, Woolworths, and University of Aucland, 15min to SkyTower and some attractions. Hotel has 1 public kitchen, not much people to use it.

My second time staying in this hotel. The room was huge, with all necessary facilities in good condition. The fridge, microwave and electric kettle are quite handy. The location is very convenient, both for sightseeing and for getting to and from the airport. The largest and cheapest supermarket in the area (Woolworths) is also just a few hundred meters away. The only issue was a bit of noise from the traffic outside, but not too bad. Overall, great value for money.

Our second stay at the Gamma as the location and price is absolutely fantastic. It’s not got the most upmarket feel to the hotel in the lobby areas but the rooms are spacious, linens clean and towels changed daily. Staff are all lovely and welcoming too. Will continue to stay here each time we visit Auckland.

The location is great, a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants! It is located in CBD. Staff are friendly. The room is neat and has all the basic amenities. The hotel doesn't have an elevator or ramp, not friendly for people with disabilities, or anyone that has way too much luggage.

The bathroom and the air-conditioner smell not really good, something like urine smell from the AC, and moldy from bathroom. I think the Hotel should consider about it, I was very sick those days.

I would recommend Gamma to anyone who would like to be in Auckland’s CBD. It is the best value for money in the area and lower down the hill than the Quandrant and Pullman. Book the Queen rooms on the upper floor and not the B rooms in the basement.  The is not elevator but only one floor to climb.

A unique boutique hotel with all the amenities you need and nothing you don’t.Five minutes walk to Auckland station.Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Didn’t know this hotel was situated on a hotel when we booked and it was a rather unpleasant surprise… Dragging baggage up the very steep slope was 😭 and it also made the walk back daily very tiring. It is however, pretty close to the city center! Amenities provided were okay. Room was spacious. Really liked the bathroom.

Checking in and checking out process was very easy. There is also a variety of restaurants and a supermarket near by.

Comfy room with everything I needed, in a very good location. The staff was nice and helpful.
