Adrian Hotel

We had two rooms for 4 nights. The hotel is in an excellent location to explore the major historic sites. Plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from The rooms had a kettle and a coffee machine and a fridge stocked with snacks The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Daily housekeeping was very good Breakfast was fine with a limited choice of hot and cold food Small lobby area. As a good value B and B this is a good option I have deducted 1 star as the rug in the breakfast room with curled up edges is an accident waiting to happen and the toilet in the courtyard has no lights Recommended

Lovely hotel, lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Nice basic room but clean and had maid service. The mini bar was nice too. Really enjoyed our stay here for new year. It is in such a great location within walking distance to so many bars, restaurants, tavernas, shops and sightseeing.

This hotel is a great location. It is walking distance (uphill) to the acropolis,and is in the centre of town. It has a view of the accrop ,see pics rm 306. And has a nice breakfast included , on the terace. Unfortunately they close the terace after bfast, because it would be a nice place to sit and have a drink. Rooms are old. No pool . Staff are ftiendly. Elevator works.would def staythere again. Good price

This is a friendly hotel well situated close to the the Acropolis with lots of shops & restaurants nearby. The decor of the reasonably sized rooms is a bit dated but they’re comfortable & provide stunning views of the Acropolis or the surrounding streets depending on which side you’re in. Prices were very fair. The included breakfast is served in a rooftop setting, again with stunning views - see photo. The food was fairly standard with cereals, eggs, ham & cheese. The staff were super friendly & helpful.

what a great little hotel in a perfect location. Get an Acropolis view room as it is at the back with no street noise. The staff from reception to the room maids are great and speak decent English. The breakfast for a small hotel is brilliant,bacon eggs,sausages toast and coffee with the most delicious fresh orange juice you could wish for. The rooms are adequate with a good bathroom and shower. Good value for money. plenty to do locally and within walking distance of the museum Hadrians gate and the changing of the guard outside the Parliment building. also a good variety of bars and places to eat. Would I return.........Yes One good tip pre book your taxi to and from the airport as it is a good 45-50 minutes drive. On arrival our driver was waiting for us and on return the taxi was at the hotel to pick us up dead on time.

When I got the reservation dates wrong for another hotel, they helped us find a room nearby. The Adrien is in a fun neighborhood with shops and restaurants and just a few blocks from the metro station. The room is simple with a balcony, queen bed, tv and air conditioner. Air conditioner is important since there’s street noise with the balcony door open. The bath is small with a shower including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap and a hair dryer in the room. This was important to us since our luggage didn’t make it. No safe. We borrowed an electrical adaptor for the European outlet from the desk. No USB ports. There is an elevator for those who need it. The breakfast on the roof was a very good buffet with good coffee, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, yogurt, cheese. Greek salad and fresh squeezed orange Jo ice. The decor is traditional with potted blooming plants and a nice view of the Acropolis. There is unobtrusive netting to keep the birds from begging. The roof is not open at night. I recommend the nearby Plaka Hotel rooftop for cocktails. Beware of pickpockets on the metro. They got my husband’s.
