Wow must be the best value hotel in the fabulous city of Athens,everything was first class from the location to the comfortable room to the friendly staff and the very tasty breakfast  Have stayed here before and will definitely return

The location is so good to sightseeing spots! There are many restaurants, cafes and suvenior shops. The staff are also friendly. And the view from rooftop is amazing. You can see Acropolis with light spot at night.

Nice hotel good view reasonable breakfast. Is convenient access to all the restaurants. People surrounding friendly n generous. Will recommend to all friends n relatives

Excellent experience - location, service, comfort. The rooftop restaurant and bar had an amazing view of the Acropolis.

Plaka Hotel Stay: Jan 20th to Jan 30th Rm 511 My second time stay. Enjoyed my stay to the hilt. Staff very friendly. House keep was excellent. Used Plaka as my base to visit the Islands, wandered the Peloponnese and local markets. I would like to especially thank Miss "Eva" of front desk. She is the star at the breakfast room in the morning as she chimes " Kala Mera". Politely comes to the table asking about any help we wanted or any tips to visit a place of interest or any discomfort the previous day with which she could help. She was genuinely interested in helping. Her multicultural knowledge including multi language capability was very valuable in easy conversation. She is a great asset to Plaka Hotel. Her colleagues at the front desk including the gentlemen were very friendly and we felt that we were returning home as we came back in the eve and were greeted with smiles. One disconcerting aspect of the elevators in Plaka hotel was the offending smell that emanated sometime. And one suggestion to the management is to add sliders under the furniture legs on the roof restaurant as they keep moving it late in the night causing noise. But it did not take away from our enjoying the stay. Thanks to Plaka Hotel for a delightful stay of ten days. We will come back next year. Looking forward! R. V (NJ US)

good strategic location and clean, worth for money... just room are relatively small but pay fair, no complain, I would go back again...

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I wasn't expecting much for breakfast, but there was a variety of bread, vegetables, and fruit. I also liked the fact that they refilled it right away. The staff was also very friendly. We will be back again when we come to Turkey.

Hotel near metro station, main shopping area, restaurants and supermarkets. You can go up to the rooftop bar for a view of the Acropolis. The room was a bit small and the walkway between the bed and wall is tight. Sound proofing is not very good as I can hear people talking in the other room.

The rooms at this hotel are nice for the price and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is near tourist hotspots like the Acropolis, Plaka and Monastiraki areas and despite this our room was quite quiet. The room had a large TV, a small closet, a work station, mini fridge, tea/coffee station and had good WiFi. The lighting was good and not too bright and the window let in a lot of natural daylight during the day. We wish the balcony had a couple of chairs on it because it is a nice area but the rooftop bar makes up for what the room balcony lacks. The bathroom had great water pressure and I felt this was one of the best showers I had during my time in Greece. The shampoo, shower gel and handsoap all smelled nice and had a touch of sea salt during our stay. The towels were clean and soft. We felt the shower could use improvement as it is a little small and it leaked water through the doors so we had to put a towel down to help with the water. The rooftop bar is fantastic and they had a good variety of well made cocktails and some non-alcoholic options. It is absolutely worth checking out and is open 24/7 but the bar is open from 6 pm to midnight. They had some good options too for food but we felt you would pay a premium here for the drinks and food compared to other restaurants in the area. We thought the view justified it as it gives one of the best views of the Acropolis and we enjoyed a very nice sunset here as well. The breakfast was decent and had enough variety. There were breakfast staples like bread, cereals, sausages, scrambled eggs and hard-boiled eggs. They also had a couple of salads, vegetables, fruit slices and some preserved fruits. They had a good selection of Greek breakfast items like yoghurt, honey, cheese and spinach pies and some desserts. The beverage station included a coffee making machine, juice and water. The staff we interacted with were welcoming and efficient. We paid the city tax on arrival and were quickly handed out room keys. At breakfast a lady came to check in on us and other guests to ask us about our stay and spoke to other guests in other languages. The hotel has a laundry service and baggage storage and had we stayed longer here we would consider trying these out. This was a good stay in Athens and we were happy with the price in March. We enjoyed being surrounded but cafes, restaurants and shops and being very close to the major sights of Athens. There are also quite a few convenience and grocerg stores nearby but many closed around 9 pm during our stay. The Monastiraki metro station is very close too and it takes about an hour to get here from the airport. You can keep using metro to get around the area too but we found it quite walkable for the activities we wanted to do.

They have joined two singles bed to make it double .it was difficult to sleep

12/10⭐️ one of the best hotels that checked all the right boxes. Perfectly located in beautiful neighborhood of Plaka, 10 min walk from Syntagma X95 airport bus stop and Metro station. Very safe (sensibly) to walk at night because the road is flanked by restaurants and hotels. Corner is a mini market/ convenient store. The front staffs were excellent, they were welcoming, helpful, polite and friendly and spoke good English. Room size was okay but it was very clean, mopped (I think), cozy, warm in winter. Bathroom was sparkling and clean linen. It was a good deal and came with wide spread of buffet breakfast. Oh yes! Looking left up the street is Acropolis 👍😃
