Grand Hotel Osman

Avoid. Not a 4* hotel. - There was a strange odour in the room. - The room had not been cleaned properly, there were cobwebs found on the walls and on the ceiling. - There are cracks on the walls along with water stains, the room in general is not in good condition. - We have booked a king room but the bed is not a king or double bed but just two single beds pushed together. - The aircon was noisy making a rattling sound when on. - The soap holder in the bathroom was chipped and there was a big crack on the shower floor. - The fixtures in the bathroom were also loose and the door was difficult to lock. - We found hair lodged in the shower tray, so it seems that the bathroom had also not been properly cleaned. - The breakfast was poor (€6 each). The bread and pastries were stale. There were no milk or bowls for cereal and only instant coffee was included with breakfast. It was bad quality coffee and we could not drink it, in order to have acceptable quality coffee we had to pay extra. When we brought this to management's attention on the day after our first night stay, we received stares from the front desk staff as we walked through the foyer. I’ve attached their response in the photos, but essentially no resolution offered. They commented that the stale coffee was for a "group of Poles" and that we made a "very cheap reservation from Booking which does not include breakfast or swimming pools". It was not a cheap reservation, it was for a king room at a 4* hotel. They tried to explain away the issues with the air conditioning by saying that the room was not cooling down as it was hot outside. Clearly, it was an issue they were aware of. Terrible customer service. Didn't want to hear the issues when brought up at checkout.

They tried to explain away the issues with the air conditioning by saying that the room was not cooling down as it was hot outside. Clearly, it was an issue they were aware of. We had not had this issue with any of our other accommodations, since the whole point of an air conditioning unit is to cool down your room when it is hot. On checkout, the front desk staff asked us why we were not happy with our room. I began to list the issues and he stopped me mid-sentence and waved me off. Terrible customer service. Consigliatissimo per coppie, famiglie e anche viaggiatori solitari in cerca di pace e ispirazione. Il costo della stanza è troppo basso per tanta bellezza!!! La piscina è straordinariamente bella e Marco, il barman, è il migliore al mondo!

Dopo un viaggio di 1000 km, vorresti riposare decentemente, ma niente non è stato possibile. Receptionist improvvisata, Camere sporche, Caldo infernale per via della climatizzazione o non attivata o non funzionante, anche dopo segnalazione nulla da fare, nottata al caldo, non si poteva aprire nemmeno la porta xe c'erano le zanzare che bussavano per entrare. Colazione? Stendiamo un velo pietoso, formaggi con mosche sopra che vi passeggiavano, qualche biscotto di antiquariato, caffè? Lasciamo perdere pure, santo autogrill di Sala consilina. Ci eravamo già stati ad ottobre 2024, e tutto era andato bene, non so come mai adesso così, avrà cambiato gestione? Comunque lo stato è di abbandono puro.

Che delusione... Siamo ritornati in questo hotel dopo 3 anni (ci fermiamo sempre qui per spezzare il lungo viaggio) ed abbiamo trovato una situazione veramente disastrosa. A partire dalla telefonata di prenotazione, mezz'ora per farmi capire dalla receptionionist che non parlava bene l'italiano, ho dovuto ripetere diverse volte le stesse cose ma a prescindere, una volta arrivati, ci hanno assegnato una stanza piccola e poco pulita. Le lenzuola sembravano sporche, c'erano capelli sul cuscino.....l'odore in camera era insopportabile. L'aria condizionata non funzionava e ci hanno mandato un cameriere che si è tolto le scarpe da ginnastica (non vi dico l'odore... 😱) per salire sulla poltroncina che con un cacciavite ha smontato il pannello dell'aria che era pieno di polvere Dopo 5 minuti dice che era tutto a posto. La cena era per le 20 ed alle 20.10 ci hanno avvisato che il cuoco aveva avuto un incidente (si spera nulla di grave) Prenotiamo in un altro ristorante e ritornati in camera, c'era ancora un caldo tropicale. Richiamiamo la reception e dicono che dobbiamo avere pazienza ma dopo un ora nulla era cambiato. Chiediamo un cambio camera e ci fanno entrare in una stanza ancora da rifare. Ce ne mostrano un altra ma il condizionatore non funzionava neanche li. A questo punto, all'alba delle 22 decidiamo di andarcene per trovare un'altro hotel in zona. Non ci vedranno più nemmeno dipinti in cartolina

Forse parte dell'hotel era in fase di ristrutturazione, ma non ci era stato comunicato. Le descrizioni ne facevano un hotel favoloso, forse siamo capitati in un momento sbagliato. Le camere superior non hanno il box doccia, ma la doccia in vasca con una tenda di plastica, per avere il box doccia abbiamo optato per una standard. La camera era piccola, ma per una notte non ci interessava. Il bagno aveva la porta a scomparsa perchè il lavandino occupava parte della porta. Non c'era nessun appoggio per gli asciugamani che sono dovuti rimanere sotto il lavandino. Il set di cortesia era composto da 2 saponette e due bustine di bagnoschiuma. Le porte del box doccia erano fuori dalle guide. Abbiamo chiesto di poter cenare, viste le buone recensioni del ristorante/pizzeria interno. La pizzeria non era funzionante. Il menù del ristorante non era disponibile perchè il cuoco lo cambiava tutti i giorni. La cena prevedeva a scelta: 2 paste al sugo e come secondo salsicce ai ferri o petto di pollo ai ferri. Abbiamo optato per due petti di pollo e verdure grigliate (2 zucchine e 3 melanzane). Al mattino per la colazione il banco del buffet non era nemmeno preparato; ci hanno portato al tavolo un piatto con delle marmellatine, una confezione di nutella, 1 brioche vuota, 2 dolcetti e un pacchetto di fette biscottate. Ho chiesto se c'era qualcosa di salato e allora ci hanno portato un piatto con 6 fette di pane e un altro con 4 fette di formaggio e 4 di prosciutto cotto. Sarà stata magari una situazione contingente, sarà stata bassissima stagione, saremo stati pochi clienti ma non è uno standard da 5 stelle e comunque se ci sono delle problematiche è opportuno avvisare i clienti. Per questa esperienza non lo consiglio.
