This is certainly a nice hotel to stay in and in an outstanding location - just across from both the cathedral as well as the Gaudi palace. The real star of the place is the restaurant. I had a spectacular lunch here for a very fair price considering the quality.

As a Camino pilgrim, I found the hotel room spacious with magnificent a view of the cathedral and archbishop's palace. Beds were comfortable, in-room facilities were adequate. Cafeteria and restaurant had good food, especially the dinner in the restaurant. My only complaint was the very Spartan breakfast: a piece of ham, slice of cheese, yogurt, fruit, coffee, orange juice, wrapped snacks for takeaway. For me, not enough to keep up energy for a long walk to the next destination. Special mention goes to Roen (I hope I spelled his name right). He serves at the front desk and also acts as maitre 'd in the restaurant during dinner. He goes the extra mile to make sure the guest is well cared for. I would have given the hotel 5 stars if the breakfast had more choices.

We finished walking our Camino journey for this year in Astorga. This hotel is in a fantastic location with the Camino passing its front door. When we arrived it was a pleasure to be welcomed by Reuben, a very friendly efficient and helpful young man. It was clear from every interaction our group members had with him, that i was not the only one with this opinion of him. He also helped a member of our group printing bus tickets Our room looked straight across to the Gaudi designed Bishops palace. The bed was extremely comfortable and very clean.

The Gaudi hotel is literally opposite the Cathedral and the Gaudi camiño museum - best views in the town! Friendly staff with no issues regarding our eatly check in. Get a room to the front - views. as above and quiet after dark. Restaurant looked great for meals although we ate out with friends. Very good value for such a key location. Thanks for a great stay Chris

Didn’t actually stay in the hotel , we only stopped as it looked a beautiful town from the motorway. Such an awesome Cathedral, what looks in the middle of nowhere and the Gaudi cafe is just outside its walls. Very nice food, amusing service from a waiter who seemed totally uninterested but still got the job done. An enjoyable visit.

Stopped at the tables outside the cafeteria for a drink, no one was serving the tables and the waiter inside was not interested in serving English speaking guests visiting the town, so we went next door.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Astorga. Günstige Parkplätze für die Nacht vor dem Haus oder in der Nähe. - Freundlicher Empfang. Das Zimmer ist einfach aber gut möbliert. Lediglich der Tisch war sehr schmal. Aber alles sauber + gepflegt. - Klimaanlage funktionierte gut, man benötigt sie, um den keinen Strassenlärm zu haben. - Gute Betten.

Muy buena situación, justo enfrente del Palacio Gaudí. Cama muy cómoda, grande. Muy limpio y un trato muy amable. Es necesario reservar el párking. La calle dónde está ubicado el hotel es toda zona azul. Por poner un inconveniente sí dejas el coche en la calle tienes que estar pendiente del ticket de la hora.
