Tholaria Boutique Hotel

Beautiful hotel with great hosts, convenient location ( 8 min walk to Chora in a quiet location) and spectacular view! The breakfast was tasty with everyday variations. The rooms were very clean. The 2 ladies ( Mrs Litsa and Vasiliki), in charge for the running of the business, were very helpful, glad to serve us in an unpretentious way and made us feel as home! This is a property we highly recommend and we promise to get back!

Excellent boutique hotel in a perfect location. 5 minutes walk to Chora and 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Livadi Beach. The hotel is family run, the owners and staff are very friendly, you immediately feel at home here. Excellent, rich breakfast, international and with homemade local specialties, which are lovingly explained by host Lisa. Always perfect service from the very friendly owner Maria, be it picking you up at the airport, reserving a rental car, taxi or just providing information about good tips. The rooms are very clean and lovingly furnished, you just feel comfortable here, like at home. The hosts of the hotel also own a yacht on which they offer day trips to the offshore islands with the most beautiful bathing bays. This unique opportunity should not be missed. Owner and skipper Mike as also crewmember Mike leave nothing to be desired, with cool drinks, snacks and a sensational final meal. An absolutely relaxed, friendly atmosphere, as if you were out with friends. An unforgettable experience that is unique. We can absolute recommend the Tholaria Hotel, because true hospitality is genuinely practiced here.

Planned just a few weeks in advance, I wanted more than just a room, an amazing view, and an amazing location. I found all three. I booked Anemo Suite, which gave me peace, comfort, and a view to die for. The jacuzzi on the balcony (oh and private access to the pool!) were fantastic. Waking up in time for sunrise as I do is worth it here. The shuts has all the comforts I needed on a short stay but woukd also be good for a long stay as well. Perfect

Outstanding and excellent place with an extremly friendly and worm-hearted host Liza. The view to the castle was fantastic . The room was very nice furnitured, the daily room cleaning war very good and efficient. The breakfast was varied with freshly made pastries every day!! Ask Liza for her favourite places to stay (beaches, scenic routes,…) and to eat. She knows excellent Tavernas and Restaurants.

Really great place to stay during your your vacation in Astypalaia! Litsa, Maria and Michalis will make you feel part of the family! Really good location to walk to the town or the beach of Livadia. Amazing view!

Friendly, family run hotel, very clean. Helpful staff, room cleaned every day. Views of the Chora, the sea and the Castle are nice. We enjoyed the pool also. Boat tour VIP Yachting run by the family is a good option to sign up for. Airport and port shuttles are very handy. Would visit again in the future.
