A "best in class" breakfast buffet; in fact, it is superior to many 5 Star Hotels! Extremely service-minded staff, and the cleanliness was sky-high, too. All in all way a “value for money-hotel” to be considered way above average for a 3 Star hotel.

We were able to park right outside the hotel for free, yet were very close to the city centre. On arrival the first impression is of a rather ordinary hôtel built in the 70's - but do not be deceived this hotel is a gem starting with the warm welcome from the owners. They had prior to arrival booked a garage space for one of our friends and recommend 2 very good restaurants for our dinner - not just the restaurant of friends. The rooms are spacious and comfortable-large bed, nice bedding, AC and spotless. Nice touches were really fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, and a great selection of teas with a note from the owners. Straight away you know you are not staying in a chain hotel, but one where the owners care. They were very present at breakfast making sure you had everything, offering to make your coffee, squeeze your juice despite the buffet being self service. The buffet was incredible-everything you could think of. If we are ever be back in Asti we will stay here. Our party of 3 couples all really loved it.

I have stayed here twice and am very much looking forward to my third stay in a week's time. It is perfect for visiting Asti, and a wonderfully reviving pitstop for those on a road trip. The breakfast is magnificient and the staff (and owner) extremely welcoming. Highly recommended.

Warm welcome. Parking outside the main hotel entrance. Thoughtful touch of fresh fruit and wine in the room on arrival. Helpful in regard to restaurant recommendations and booking. Room spacious and comfortable. Good wifi speed. Breakfast absolutely amazing …have never had the option of 6 types of honey including one straight from the comb!

Excellent hotel! Unique blend of hotel, home stay and airbnb. You're staying at hotel for the staff make you feel as if you are staying at their home. Staff is very friendly, attentive and very welcoming! Great location. Easy parking. Amazing breakfast! If in the area I would definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel, definitely our favourite in Italy. Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious room, great shower & the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful & friendly. I celebrated my 50th birthday while staying here & the manager gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to enjoy. This was on top of a complimentary bottle of local red wine that all guests receive. Hotel management went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. We did not want to leave!

Great hotel and great location. Claudia and Alessandra are very attentive to guests needs. Elaborate breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. I don't normally write reviews (except for bad ones), but this hotel is quite remarkable. If your plans include Asti, this is the place to stay!

Hotel Lis is Absotely Top-Notch in every way ! First, we appreciate the attention to our need for a quietly located room. Management met this need by locating us in a room with two tiers of doors to the cooridor: one thick door sealed off the bed room area, with another door to the hallway. Second, parking is available on the street directly across from the street from the Hotel: safe and secure and witout extra charge. The option exists for parking in a separate, locked area -- and was not needed. Asti is a nice, safe community ! Third, the room and bathroom are very well organized. The space is well-designed so everyhing needed is at-hand -- and efficient ! Fourth, breakfast is beautiful ! Fruit juice is freshly prepared in a special mechanism - and omelets are cooked to order ! Finally and key to everything: the staff is excellent - helpful and available, including in breakfast room. Thank you, Hotel Lis - for making us comfortable and happy !
