Benmiller Inn & Spa

Food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and accommodating pleasure to have eaten at the restaurant. The buildings are quite old and have been updated however the main building needs some attention to make sure that it has been properly renovated. With numerous other buildings and the age of the buildings renovation is always a big priority and costly so it’s never ending. Overall the inn was a very nice place to stay for two nights.

Stayed here for 1 night in June early in the season, very quaint, clean rooms, easy parking. The check in was seamless and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We didn't dine here and opted to explore town options, Beach station was excellent! We used the pool and sauna and because we were here during the week we had both all too ourselves. I would definitely come back!

Was not expecting the bathtub open to the room and did not like it. Also expected more than a Keurig and a mini fridge in a 'kitchenette'.

Stay was ok,beds not so comfortable,and the grout in between the tiles surrounding the tub,was not so clean. Dinner was great..,the two girls not only running around the dining room but trying to man the bar/lounge area tried their best to be attentive but I feel Were overwhelmed and could used more help. Spa treatment was good

The small creek running right through the property was very nice. As well as the larger river with a view right from our room. The property is need of a major refresh. The first building/room that we were assigned smelled very strongly of mold and mildew. Just entering the building you experience a strong smell. That should have been my sign of what was to come. There were portable dehumidifiers and fans running in the hallways of the River Mill building. The pool (not warm if heated) is located in this building but the condition of the building and room was very disappointing. We opened the windows to help with the odors in the room and decided to mention it when we went for dinner at the main building. Our expectations were high for a nice dinner based on our review of the menu. The experience again was a disappointment with the food appearing and tasting like it was reheated verses cooked fresh. After dinner we went to the front desk to cancel our breakfast reservation and mention our dissatisfaction with the room. The hostess indicated we should have said something right away about the room and I certainly agreed but I also mentioned that they should not be renting rooms in that condition to a new customer of the resort. They did upgrade us immediately to another room in the other building where the actual spa is located which was definitely a nicer room. In summary the Inn has certainly lost it's lustre of days gone by.
