Lake Duluti Lodge Arusha

Tranquil grounds. Gracious and welcoming staff-particularly Bonvenger and Kelvin the the restaurant. All the amenities you need, partially good water pressure in the shower :), especially coming off safari. The food was flavorful, and I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment I stepped into Lake Duluti Lodge, I was greeted with the warmest smiles and the most genuine hospitality. The staff here are absolutely incredible! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for. Whether it's a friendly chat, a helpful suggestion, or simply anticipating your needs, they truly make your stay exceptional. And let's talk about the food! Oh my goodness, the food at Lake Duluti Lodge is a culinary adventure. Every dish is a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. From the fresh, locally sourced ingredients to the creative and delicious combinations, each meal is a delightful surprise. I've never tasted such amazing food in Tanzania! The staff's passion for their work shines through in every interaction and every plate of food. They take pride in creating a memorable experience for each guest, and they truly succeed. I can't recommend Lake Duluti Lodge enough, it's a hidden gem with exceptional staff and incredible food!

We love the services, best food. We had a great time at the lodge and everyone was very welcoming from the main gate to the help desk! Most amazing thing was the lake view, It was so so amazing. I saw the birds and mountain lizard at the edge of the lake. Its amazing.

Beautiful place, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely pool. The room and bathroom very spacious. The food is of an excellent standard and quality. The waiting staff taking care of me as I have food allergies. They have their own organic vegetable and herb garden.

We stayed 2 nights at Lake Dulti Lodge in September 2024 after the successful summit to Kilimanjaro, thanks to the Signature Safari. It is conveniently located just outside of Arusha and closer to Kilimanjaro Airport. Inside the well secured hotel gate, it felt like we are in the different world. Our room was specious and clean with plenty of windows for airy and light feel. Oversized bathroom is very stylish with a nice bath tab. My favorite experience was dining. Particularly, our server, Bonaventure, was very attentive and professional. He made the already enjoyable experience even better. Finally, massage is a must after the hike. After over a week of sleeping in the tent and not taking a shower, this hotel was exactly what we needed it.

We spent two nights at Lake Duluti Lodge as the first two nights of our Tanzanian safari. Our safari company had arranged for us to have a family suite which consisted of two rooms connected by a sliding door. The extra space as well as having two bathrooms for our family of four made getting ready easy. This is a small property with only a few rooms which made for highly personalized service especially as they opened the kitchen early the second morning so we could have breakfast before being picked up for the start of our trip. The food and service was excellent, continental style cuisine, served off a limited menu. Our kids enjoyed trying the soup course served with both lunch and dinner as well as the deserts. Our itinerary gave us a day at the lodge to unwind and relax so we had a chance to wander the property some and were given a guided tour of the garden. We got to see the fruits and vegetables grown on property which made it onto our plates at dinner and breakfast that day even. Be sure to try the coffee (it is also grown on property.) There is a small plunge pool which we didn’t use but which looked like it would have been nice for a quick and refreshing swim. They are serious though when they say there are animals on the property. We sat on the deck behind our rooms, sipped tea, and watched a family of monkeys climbing in the trees and practiced photographing them as well as the mouse deer that skittered through the yard. Our one complaint is that we were in the room at the edge of the property which abuts the Lake property. The second night of our stay was a Saturday night and perhaps because of the jet lag the music from what sounded like a dance club or bar made it hard to sleep. We had all the doors and windows closed and could still hear the music well past midnight. Probably should have used our ear plugs - although we didn’t want to sleep through the alarms.
