Sanna Boutique Hotel

I wish I could give this Hotel 11 out of 10. I have stayed in many hotels and this tops the list. The staff were amazing from the second I stepped out of the taxi the security man was so friendly and helpful and kind and welcoming and all of the staff were incredible. Prince, the manager, is an electric hard-working generous fountain of knowledge selflessly making himself available at all times. I would not have made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro without his advice, guidance, encouragement, and inspiration as well as the help of many other of the wonderful staff. The room was so beautiful and spacious with a local ambience and large bathtub. It is rare to find a hotel with such an extensive fully well equipped gym just like one of the best gyms in the world. The restaurant on the top floor has beautiful views and ambience and the food comes in generous proportions and is delicious and the staff are so lovely. The cafe downstairs also has great options and delicious smoothies for after a gym workout. The location is central and close to banks and restaurants and other amenities. I would love to go there again just to hang out.

Excellent service, drinks & view. I came here with 10 friends, we had nibbles & cocktails. We dined alfresco, looking over the city of Arusha. Looked after impeccably by the waiting staff, manager & owner. The pins colada is the best I’ve had since being in Arusha.

The rooms are clean and reception staff friendly. Amenities leaves much to be desired for, room bathrooms are plain. The room I stayed in did not have a table to even put a pen on. As a business traveller a small desk and chair would have been nice. You don't want to leave your room and constantly go up and down to a business center. The internet/ wifi is very unstable, couldn't open emails on my laptop. The restaurant menu is very limited. Plain and dull breakfast is the order of the day. Incorrect cutlery offered with an omelet, a cake fork and knife.

Our group had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Sanna hotel before flying home after a safari. The rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfortable and the showers have great water pressure. The a la carte breakfast is included in the price and other meals and alcohol are very reasonably priced. The view from the roof top deck is not to be missed. But what really sets the hotel apart is the staff. They go out of their way to make your stay special. The owner, Prince, is passionate about making you feel cared for. When he heard that we wanted to go to the Massai market for souvenirs, he drove us himself in his car, stayed with us as we shopped and then negotiated prices for us. The hotel is just wonderful! We had a room on the 15th floor with access to a terrace with a Mt.Meru view. Our room was spacious, airy and very well lit. Amenities were good too. The people were friendly, polite and helpful. We were totally jet lagged and fell off asleep during the evening hours only to wake up pretty late at night and realize we were hungry. The room service order came in and the food was good. The hotel even packed our breakfast as we were leaving very early next morning. The ATM within the hotel premises was such a help. Our stay at the Sanna Hotel was extraordinary. Our extended family of 10 had the most wonderful stay and the Sanna exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were welcoming and accommodating of any requests we had. The rooms were spacious, clean, and serviced beautifully daily. The rooftop cafe with breathtaking views to Mt Meru, is the perfect spot to socialise with others, or rejuvenate alone. Highly recommended. With much gratitude, and hope to return next time in Arusha.
