La Concha Boutique Apartments - Adults Only

Another wonderful stay at La Concha. Beautiful tranquil complex. For the first time ever, we were unlucky enough to have noisy neighbours! Usually you cannot hear anything from neighbouring apartments, but on this occasion our neighbours watched tv, at high volume, from 7am in the morning! Why anyone would want to do this in such a quiet, tranquil location I do not know! Fortunately, noise is not permitted in the complex and reception were able to resolve it quickly. This is definitely not a location for people who want anything other than peace and quiet. Staff were wonderful as always.

Late arrival meant a message with passkey code and directions to the apartment. We walked through the gate into the apartment and it was a WOW! Beautiful furnishings bedding etc and everything you needed was available even toiletries. Spotlessly clean and smelled lovely and fresh. Coffee tea water and bottle of wine was an added bonus. We really enjoyed using the hot tub and although the weather wasn’t good we swam in the pool and the sea . Short walk to some great restaurants and supermarkets. We really hope to return as this was one of the best places we have stayed in.

What a wonderful place. The complex is fairly small and so quiet. It is on the beach front, although it is only a small cove. There are a variety of eating places with 20 minutes walk along the promenade. Top quality restaurants and surprising good pizza places. Shopping centre 15 mins away. The small pool at the complex was mostly empty. Despite being heated. Apartments are very comfortable and clean. Bikes can be hired and there is a long cycle trail going both north and south. The airport is close but the noise of planes taking off is not intrustive. We had no issues or problems.

Let me start by saying - I would like to go back here so much! We had the most relaxing break at La Concha and we'll forever be comparing other places with this one. They set the bar high! I found the accommodation of a very high standard and the maintenance to be excellent. That combined with the location in a mostly residential area and the fact that it's 'adults only' made it perfect for us. These things make this place not suitable for some but perfect for others. It was so quiet that we wondered if we were three of only a few guests, which wasn't the case. It's only a small complex anyway, which is great. We had a two bedroom apartment at the pool side with a jacuzzi. The layout was perfect with the second bedroom being away from the main one, and away from the bathroom and living room (but having an ensuite). Perhaps we were lucky, but it seemed to attract like-minded guests who just want quietness and don't want to disturb that for others. There aren't any restaurants, bars or shops right on the doorstep, which helps to keep it peaceful (all within easy walking distance though).

These apartments are the perfect place to unwind and relax. We had a beach facing room on the ground floor, complete with hot tub in a decent size private garden. A gate took you straight out onto the footpath and then directly onto the beach. We looked at 3 separate apartments and they are all decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Kitchen/living area had everything you needed, good size bedroom with plenty of storage. And then a good sized bathroom with walk in shower. The area itself is quiet with few bars / shops close by. But 10 mins by car takes you to Teguise on the north and Puerto Del Carmen south, The staff were excellent, low key, but nothing was too much trouble and any small niggles with the apartment were fixed immediately. A birthday cake / wine & balloons on arrival for my wife was a lovely touch. As others have said, this is not the place if you are looking for the buzz and nightlife of a resort, but perfect for some relaxing winter sun. Thanks to all the staff for everything you did - it was really appreciated! Would definitely recommend and would go back in the morning!

Just wanted to say thankyou to Paula and all the staff at La Concha who were all magnificent and so helpful throughout our stay. This quiet location has all you want for a relaxing break away from it all and this accommodation was magnificent in every way so very much highly recommended
