Lagoon Breeze Villas

We went with a huge group 30+ and they housed us all well. Lovely staff. Free internet, basic place but was wonderful for the price. Loved the big decks on each of our little bures. We found eating at our room nice as the breakfast was very basic. Nice pool, lots of staff always tidying the gardens etc. we used one of their lovely housekeepers as a babysitter one night, easily arranged through lovely Naomi at the office.

This was my second time back to stay at Lagoon Breeze Villas. The service is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly. From a familiar Kia orana each day, to taking the time to show our little one how to husk coconuts, to great advice on what to do and see. This time we had a two story villa. The space was fantastic for our party of 5. The view was fabulous and the location is perfect for snorkelling and getting that real raro vibe. The villas is located in a great spot on the island where you don’t have resorts after resort in your backyard and there is plenty of green space for the kids to run around. Extra bonus is the kitchen space if you want to self cater or there are plenty if great eateries close by plus Wigmores just down the road for your groceries. But make sure you enjoy that lovely fresh fruit and coconut the team put out each morning for Brekky! Can’t wait to come back again!

We stayed here as a wider family - with 18 people in total over 5 families. Each one had a one-bedroom villa. Overall, it was very nice and we would happily recommend it. Especially for a large group like ours. The rooms were very nice. The communal area was great to get together for dinner and drinks. Plus the tiki bar had a great happy hour. Their cocktails were only $13 and VERY strong. Fantastic value. The pool was good, and plenty of access to beach towels and snorkeling gear. A couple of times we needing things and nobody was available, especially on Sunday. But that's island time, so gotta roll with it. Our family didn't seem to get as much room service as others in our party. Our towels were changed less often, and our bed and bin were never changed. But we didn't stress about it. The beach out in front is nice on a calm day. As the winds are predominantly South-West, most days were not calm though, it was often quite breezy (yes like the name). We didn't use the beach much, we went to Muri more of the time, where it was calmer.

These studio style villas are great! Clean modern and spacious. They arranged for our pick up which was around 2:30am and the driver took us to our villa and we did not have to check in until we woke up in the morning. Breakfast was included each day and happy hour was from 4 to 6. Right across the road is a lovely white sand beach with nice snorkeling. Just a couple of minutes walk down the road is Polynesian Car rentals and a dive shop. The staff here are wonderful. Great for families or couples.

This villa complex fit the bill for my sister and I with a friend joining us for the 2nd week. We had plenty of room for 3-4 in the one bedroom villa with twin bed alcove. The whole staff is warm, welcoming and friendly. the breakfast provided was delicious with fresh fruit, cereals, tasty yogurt and toast. The coffee is excellent. The grounds are well kept and it is right across the road from a beautiful beach . Great beach combing and a short walk to a beach with easy access to the water for snorkeling. We opted out of the car rental and took the bus for our trips into town or out for lunch. I love this place and we have already decided to return in 2 years for another wonderful vacation to Rarotonga.

A week in the sunshine on Rarotonga; the Lagoon Breeze Villas are so much more an island experience. The staff were wonderful; the grounds and pool area always tidy & clean. An excellent snorkelling beach to the left, just 3-4mins walk across the road. Tasty plentiful breakfast. Comfortable clean villas (without TV’s thankfully). Highly recommend this place to defrag, and enjoy your Cook Island holiday
