The place was perfect for us. Clean and cosy. Stuff was really friendly and helpful. Ski shuttle just infront of the door.

Very disappointed with this Hotel, thinking of a 4 star hotel would have and I got only small towels, no complimentary water in the room, no kettle (teas or coffee), Spa not included in the hotel price, no room service or hotel restaurant menu for dinner and the bar opens at 5pm… It felt I stayed in 1 star hotel for these days… I will not be back again

Recepcionistas muy atentos y amables. Aparcamiento cerca y gratuito. Desayuno buffet muy completo. El ascensor es MUY pequeño, LENTISIMO y muy antiguo, yo opté por usar las escaleras. Las habitaciones algo antiguas pero el baño (con bañera) es grande y reformado. Tiene secador, champú, acondicionador, loción corporal y gel. Muy completo.

Soy asidua del hotel San Gothard. Nos encantan sus vistas, su ubicación, su tranquilidad, su piscina. Repetimos cada año.
La comida también está muy bien. Buena relación calidad precio, aunque hay que tener en cuenta que es un hotel un poco anticuado en mobiliario, pero a mí eso me da igual.

I don't enjoy writing this review as this hotel has quite a few positives. Lovely staff, really friendly and helpful. The food is good and the location is ok, a short free bus ride from the Gondola. Showers are good, with plentiful hot water and beds, while on the small side are comfortable. Toiletries are nice too. But this hotel has a serious noise problem. There is no soundproofing whatsoever on doors or walls, tiled floors amplify every sound, noise from adjacent rooms, plumbing noises, people knocking on doors, conversations in the corridor, every word can be heard as there is no sealing on bedroom doors. Most doors close with a bang, it's inconceivable that no attempt has been made to add any insulation to the doors between corridors and rooms. We were moved to what was meant to be a quieter room but noise from the lobby also travels from the atrium to the bedrooms on the corridor adove, as the door between them doesn't even close. We had to wedge it closed with bits of paper. So you will struggle to sleep if people are still active in the hotel, and you may well be woken by doors banging outside your room. Until management considers upgrading the room doors this is a very hard hotel to recommend. If you are skiing the one thing you need is a good night's rest. What use are all the positives if you cannot get a good night's sleep?

The staff was brilliant in the restaurant especially the main waiter a ray of sunshine. Food was a big thumbs up and rooms were decent but you could hear the river through the night. However whilst a staying here I’ve lost 50 euros my self and my friends in total have lost over 200 euros. I am unsure and devastated as for this money was every last of my personal savings. I’m not pointing fingers but I have suspicions of hotel staff/ cleaners. Would recommend if hold tight to your possessions in safe. Hope this helps your decision

The hotel is good however on a school trip we have lost a total amount of over 200 euros we have our suspicions on the cleaners and hope no one else has to lose this amount of money so recommend putting it in the safe grate servers polite and are respectful

Overall pretty good, awesome food, nice staff, good rooms. On the down side, many of my friends lost around €200 worth of cash that was in there rooms that only the cleaners had access to. If coming here I recommend making sure you keep your valuables in a place only you know.

Good food, lovely staff and room was quite comfy. The location was close enough to gondolas and lifts to ski slopes. Sadly €200+ was stolen from our school during what was meant to be a nice trip abroad. Apart from that it was a nice stay but keep your valuables safe.

The Sant Gothard is very much not a four star hotel. I have no idea where that rating came from but it’s totally misleading. At most it’s a 2.5 star. The decor is dated, the rooms are tiny (we tried three) and all are very noisy. Be prepared to hear you neighbours’ conversations, footsteps, closed doors and toilet flushes. Our first room was on a corridor that formed part of an atrium off the lobby and the noise was unbearable. We were kept awake until 4am one night. When we called reception to complain the night porter was pretty much powerless to do anything thing. On a subsequent night the screaming children and piano playing were too much so we insisted on being moved. Initially we were offered a room slightly farther down the corridor but this had no discernible effect on the noise intensity. Finally we were moved to a room on an upper floor which was adjacent to the (ancient) lift shaft. We could still hear all our neighbours’ conversations/doors/flushes but it was an improvement. Other guests we spoke to also moved rooms. The location isn’t great. There’s about a 1km uphill walk to all the shops, restaurants and the gondola. The ski bus stop is across the road but, as advised by reception staff, it comes whenever. We discovered there is a tracker on the Andorra Bus app. The hotel staff are pleasant but you get the impression they’re not very experienced (or interested) and that there’s no one’s in charge. The food is fine but unvaried. Avoid this hotel if possible.

Excellent hotel. Great customer service. Breakfast is very good. Didn't have dinner here, so I can't comment. Even though there were school groups staying at the same time, they made sure we were at the other end of the hotel. Rooms were cleaned every day. Had a problem with the shower, and they fixed it immediately. Would definitely stay again.

I have not skied for a few years dues to covid and illness. So I decided to go for a cheaper ski holiday, to ease back into it. This hotel has surprised me pleasantly. It is better than expected. It definately kicks above a 3-Star hotel. It is professionally run. The welcome from the staff was warm and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. The walk-in power shower was very welcome. As was the flat screen TV with international channels. Being on a half-board basis, I was impressed with how professional the kitchen was run. The standard of the food is very good with different dishes on offer, on a buffet basis. This made me over-eat, so this not the place for you, if you are on a diet. Now, the negatives: This hotel caters for the school-holiday market. In the evening the school kids can make a loud racket. But I actually found this added to the atmosphere, hearing lots of laughter and banter. It dies off after 10pm. The walls of the rooms are wafer thin. I could hear every word spoken by the room next to mine. I could have joined their conversation, if I wanted to. The ski bus stop is a few hundred metres away and the buses do not follow a timetable. The bus service is a bit hit and miss, which a pain when you have all of your ski-gear with you. Walking to the gondola is uphill and will take around 20 minutes with your ski-gear. Not easy and not good. Despite the above, I found my stay was very comfortable. If you are on a budget but expect a high standard, this is a fine choice of hotel.

The hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower was quite powerful. The reception and bar area was nice. The only downside was that the walls were quite thin and I could hear talking in the adjacent rooms. It was a 10 minute walk to the gondola, but the free bus pulled up outside. It was just difficult to know when to catch it. Outside pool was closed due to winter conditions. Would stay there again

We had a weeks skiing in the second week of Jan 2023. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the rooms were clean and spacious vs what we had experienced in other ski resorts. The restaurant food selection is buffet style breakfast and evening meal and the food was amazing, with variety to satisfy everyone's needs, from cold food to hot and salads to roasts. Overall excellent holiday, topped off with some good live entertainment in the bar on an evening. :)
