The hotel was very well placed slightly out of the town with fantastic views across the water and mountains. We had requested a top floor seat view room - 402 which was small but had lovely views and was quiet. It’s a 5-10 walk to bars and restaurants and if you walk the other way there are nice places to swim. Breakfast was more than adequate with different things to choose from.

We love Hotel Aggelos, great location near Cruise pier and far enough out of town to be blissfully quiet but close enough to walk to all main eateries etc. lovely sea view from s just perfect. Our second year and will be booking next years very soon. Always a welcoming smile from the owners and staff. Room immaculately clean and basic high is all you need when you are on holiday. It’s lovely sitting on the terrace every morning for breakfast which is simple Greek style with coffee- Bliss!

Stayed here twice before had a lovely stay however this time not so good. Toilet seat broken asked but not fixed, roof in our bedroom leaked. Air conditioning swing motion not working also reported. Seems very tired hotel now but still wants top money for it . Unfortunately we will not be returning. Hotel has beautiful views across the Ionian and kept very clean but that is about it . Sofia on reception was lovely though .

Great view and a pleasant stay At the quiet ends of Argostoli waterfront, about 10 minutes walk to the main area for shops & boats. Our room with balcony overlooked the sea with a view that was a treat to wake up to. Room was kept spotlessly clean with frequent changes of sheets and towels. A couple of small maintenance jobs needed doing, and we were glad we brought an electrical extension as there were only two electrical charging sockets available. Shower was good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Not a big hotel but they made a good effort with a variety at breakfast. Air conditioning was efficient with a quiet setting. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel, situated on the waterfront in Argostoli. Room was comfortable. Our room was on the 2nd floor; there isn’t a lift in the hotel. Good selection of items for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby

At the quiet end of Argostoli. About 10 minutes walk to the main area where there were boats moored, shops and the main square. Our room with balcony overlooked the sea with a view that was a treat to wake up to. Room was kept spotlessly clean with frequent changes of sheets and towels. Shower was good. Staff were pleasant & helpful. Not a big hotel but there was a good choice for breakfast. Air conditioning was efficient with a quiet setting. We enjoyed our stay & would go back.

Once again a very enjoyable stay at Aggelos Hotel. We had rooms on the second floor with a sea view and I would highly recommend. Breakfast is simple but there is enough choice for all. Easy flat walk to the centre of Argostoli. We look forward to our next visit.

A perfect stay! This lovely Hotel is wonderfully located opposite the marina and well situated for a short stroll into the main square. It’s also just a 5 min walk to all the boat trips and the Ferry to Lixouri. Ferry goes every day, every half hour, trip takes 25 mins no booking necessary. All the hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Buffet breakfast consists of pastries, egg, bacon, fruit, juice, bread, yoghurt etc. The cleaners make an excellent job of keeping this hotel spotless, fluffy white towels supplied and bedding changed frequently. Reception can arrange Taxis and also suggest restaurants. We had room 402 on the top floor which had a lovely little balcony overlooking the Marina. Please note if you have mobility issues, no lift is available

Amazing hotel. Spotlessly clean. Wonderful, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Perfect location. Room 301 was superb. Very highly recommend. Five minutes walk into main centre of town. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't always good, but we made the best of it! Hired a car locally. Fantastic holiday!
